There will be many explanations for Democrat Doug Joness victory over Republican Roy Moore in Alabamas special election Tuesday.......
.....But there is another factor: Doug Jones simply worked very hard.
According to his own campaign, Jones held well over 200 campaign events over two months an average of more than three per day.......
Yet there will be questions about the way Moore decided to spend his time doing things other than campaigning for example, leaving the state to catch the Army-Navy game...........

The Daily Mail (UK) reports a 1.5% difference between them.
That is about one Army/Navy games difference.
I see where you stand - with Hastert/McConnell.
It’s not about Jones or Moore.
It’s about Republicans who support Democrats.
If that’s what they want, that’s what they get.
McConnell has to resign.
The words “work” and “democrat” cannot be used in the same sentence.
Probably several reasons. Here are two:
1. only 50% of the Republicans who voted in 2016 turned out to vote yesterday. Whereas, 92% of the Democrats who voted in 2016 turned out to vote yesterday.
Republican turn out the vote campaign failed miserably.
2. There is no way Republicans can without party unity. Conservatives plus establishment equal a win. Definitely missing for this election.
2. Bannan may be a master politician but not in Alabama. His style is not for the South. He turns people off down here. He gained no votes and more than likely cost Moore some votes.
3 stops a day for the last 2 months? Sounds like work to me.
Well with ALL the dems, and ALL the RINOS, and ALL the media against him and the dems outspending him 14 to 1, he lost by 1% - and there is probably all the user democrap voter fraud.
Trump won by EXCEEDING the margin of voter fraud. Moore didn’t AND had everyone against him.
This is McConnell’s loss, and now they are all over the media today going “See? Let US pick who we want, or we’ll let them lose”
It's a wonder Moore was able to come as close as he did.
Thanks to the GOPe and Mitch McConnell it was a mismatch from Day-1
The Dems are good at one thing....getting out the vote.
I am not buying it fore one second.
92% of HilLIARy voters turned out?
OR did they do their voting for them...?
Yep.
Moore was the Ted Cruz of this election. Not much of a personality, too ideological to attract much of any outside of his core conservative base, and he creeped people out. I think he was unfairly attacked, but his response of deny, deny, deny did not satisfy many that there was not a creepy pattern of behavior despite the obvious fraud that was perpetrated against him.
If you separate Roy Moore himself from the accusations, the reasons for his lack of appeal to voters can be seen more clearly.
Oh hooray. An energetic baby killer.
BALLOT PICTURES ??
Fake Elections have no Ballot Pictures.
No Ballot Pictures = Revote.
The Dems are good at one thing.....getting out the vote
Real AND fraudulent vote totals!
Alabama requires photo ID to vote
Jones worked hard but appeared very, very boring. Some of the extreme positions werent noticed because of that.
You’ve been outstanding past 24 hours
Just wanted to point that out
Jones didn’t win, Moore lost. There’s a difference.
Jones looked sane next to Crazy Roy... nearly anyone would. As shown, other than the fringe base, normal folk arent going to go vote for someone they dislike...
