Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

It is soon time for God to intervene and Heaven help us when He does.
“Democrats aren’t supposed to have that kind of organization in Alabama.”
They spent $30M in ads on this election. Millions of dollars they don’t have. They probably spent that on their ground game too.
The RNC did nothing. Instead, they went idiotic and potentially blew a safe R Senate seat. There are far better strategies than trashing your candidate and proposing some stupid write in campaign.
I *hate* the spineless RNC and the scum that run it.
Dems are motivated. GOPe is only motivated for their progressive corportist candidates. Do we need any more proof what a malignant force the GOPe is?
In 2016 (which is running x1.5-x2.0 the total votes approx than this year) the breakdown was:
Montgomery - 61/39 (Dem/GOP)
Jefferson - 52/48 (Dem/GOP)
The outstanding votes (approx) to count in these counties is:
Montgomery - 60K
Jefferson - 90K
If the percentages tightens to be closer to the traditional breakdown in those two counties then Moore wins. If they stay 8-2 in favor of Jones then he probably wins. Need more votes to see if that will happen but the surrounding counties, while Jones is performing about 10% better than Crumpton did against Shelby in 2016, he isn’t performing so much better that we should automatically assume the 8-2 breakdown will hold. If it does then it shows that the cities were mobilized to deliver the win for the Democrat.
Just passing along my quick analysis. It is not as over as NY Times is assuming, but it could end up there if the cities continue to deliver more votes than the historical average for Jones.
That is VERY weird. ABC?! The same ABC that lies about Trump every day.
deep blue counties still holding back their reporting
Montgomery area only 3 out of 99 ..mobile only 11 out of 190
He said it during a debate, not sure how anyone could have missed it
You have to realize Fox is not going to stick their neck out that far unless they’re pretty sure of the results. You also have to realize most people in this country are not as dedicated as freepers.
The scary thing is if Moore loses it will empower the deep state to go after Trump more. Unless Trump has massive support they will do everything possible to bring him down.
And remember, Trump wasn’t able to do anything about vote fraud. It’s still there. I hope Moore pulls it out. And I hope he sues the women and Allred win or lose.
Amen.
NY Times is giving it to Jones at this point. However, NY Times had it at 90% Jones, and it went back down to 71% Jones. The big cities are going to be Moore’s problem. Dems motivated their people. That was my concern when I saw those polls a month ago.
big places like mobile and montgomry has only a few precints reported. those are jones votes
Did ABC call the race for Moore?
Moore gains +39,800 (7%) with 56% in
“Makes me worried about 2018..if Jones wins tonight in a freakin RED state..what does that say for 2018”
“Anyone who thinks the dems didnt know about these sexual misconduct charges during the fight between Moore & Strange is a moron. They wanted Moore to win the nomination, then they would hit him hard with this trumped up sex scandal.”
They would have done the SAME EXACT THING with Strange.
It is the only thing left in the playbook for Dems now.
The game they're playing is to outrun "when they finally came for me..."

THE POSTER DID NOT SAY ABC NEWS CALLED IT FOR MOORE!!
They said ABC RADIO was talking as if they were calling it for Moore.
This is todays news media.
About 592,000 votes have been counted already. Mr. Moore leads in that count by 6.2 points.
That is exactly what happened in Virginia last month. Turnout was so-so in the good areas but skyrocketed in the ghetto/barrio areas and Gillespie was toast as a result.
