Just today, during our science class, my 13 year old asked “when are we going to send people back to the moon?”
Maybe I should ask him for some lottery numbers.

President Trump reserves the right to choose which humans are sent to the moon.

What’s the hurry? It’s only been 45 years or so since we last went to the moon?
Look at all the progress in space we’ve made since then.
If someone had told me in the mid 70s we would have abandoned space exploration to the point we would have no way of delivering humans to space in 2017, I’d have told them they were crazy.
No, evidently I was.

Debtor nations should not be sending people to the moon.

The trouble with these efforts is that they seem to invariably get bogged down in some sort of politics and are killed off by the succeeding administration.
On a side note, had DJT announced that NASA was going to use Zero-Point powered vehicles for this venture then all bets would be off. but he won’t.

I think this shift in NASA’s exploration objectives is long overdue.
Exploring Mars with probes and satellites is a worthy endeavor, that has advanced our knowledge of our neighbor planet, but exploring our own satellite makes more sense for a host of reasons.

lol, I can just see the SJWs now, insisting that every moon mission has to be diverse, with a full array of LBGTTTQQQAAARSTUVWXYZ people on board.
