Former President Barack Obama recorded a get-out-the-vote call for Democratic Alabama Senate candidate Doug Jones, the New York Times reports.
The former president is just the latest prominent liberal to aid Jones’ special election campaign. Democratic New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker has campaigned in Alabama for Jones, while other Democratic senators have fundraised on Jones’ behalf.
Jones’ campaign advisers were still unsure on Sunday night about whether they would actually use the taped call from Obama, amid fears that the former president’s endorsement could backfire and hurt Jones, according to the NYT .
Um uh hello, um uh this is in uh Obama and um uh you need to vote for um uh Davey jones. He is um uh um uh gonna go against Trump.
Roy Moore should send the Obama robocall to his constituents and just start off with “hey check this shit out...”
The only Dems I saw going into AL for him are African-American. I suppose their last and only hope is to get every last black in AL (and as many as they can bus in) to vote for Jones. Seems a little strange, not to mention racist.

Everyone campaigninng for Jones is a “brotha.” Why would a white person vote for Jones? Jones offers white people nothing.
