Those Smarmy HATE HAS NO HOME HERE Signs

If you live near more than a few sanctimonious liberals you know these signs. They're sprouting up around me like the rats in Camus' Plague. First I saw just one, then a few, and now hundreds. Each one conveys the same message in English and f'n Arabic (ARABIC !!) that the people who put the signs out are such good people.

I've thought about taking down the addresses where I see these sign and snail mailing each a letter politely expressing my thoughts about their respective signs. But so far I haven't been able to come up with suitable text. (Suggestions would be appreciated in the space provided below though!)

Maybe I’m naïve, but I never thought of “Baby on Board” signs (usually in rear windows) as sanctimonious, but rather as there to encourage drivers nearby to drive more carefully because a collision could endanger a baby.

Lived next to some woman (notice I didn't say 'lady') who had a COEXIST bumper sticker. She was a complete idiot and troublemaker. When I met her she told me she'd been arrested a few times and spent time in jail. After living next to her for a few months, I saw why.

A better idea would be to take down the addresses and sign them up for every distasteful, disgusting, loathesome thing you can find. Like the NAMBLA mailing list. Using your browser in private mode and preferably a different machine on a different network. Like, say, a laptop on a Starbuck’s free wifi.

Do not assume that doing things from a Starbuck's (or library's) free wifi cannot be used to uniquely identify your device, if law enforcement becomes interested.

Your laptop/tablet/etc has a network card. That card has a unique manufacturer-set address (called the MAC (media access control) address. A sufficient number of people use Starbucks wifi in an effort to attempt to be anonymous, and they thus get a sufficient number of law enforcement requests, that they almost certainly keep the router logs.

Being a former prankster, I’d be tempted to go to supercheapsigns.com and order up some exact duplicates...but with one, imperceptible tweak: the line in Arabic would be changed to “Except for pig Muslim sons of Mohammed’s whore mother. Get off my lawn!”. I’d carry them in my car and switch a few out in strategic neighborhoods.
