n the interview published on Saturday, Cotton compared the frivolous allegations against Moore to the frivolous allegations that came out against President Donald Trump before his landslide victory over Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton. Cotton said the voters would decide the veracity of the claims just like they deemed Trump to not be guilty last year, and that the news media should not determine whether or not people are guilty.

After spending more than $30 million in a failed effort to defeat Moore in the primary and runoff, McConnell then orchestrated an effort to push Moore out of the race after these allegations surfaced in the Washington Post.
Within minutes of the Post story, first posted weeks ago, McConnell rallied his fellow establishment GOP senators to push Moore to step aside. McConnell and the GOP establishment failed.
Moore is still standing and is poised for victory on Tuesday."
Ditch Mitch...
On his first entrance into the Senate, I’d like to see Moore literally beat Mitch’s face into a pulp.
We Shouldnt Have Trial by Newspaper
Exactly correct. Trial by “newspaper” or more correctly, media assassination, is how this country has been ruled by the Mediacracy for the past 50 years.
Moore should enter the Senate with “Ride of the Valkyries” playing.
That's right !
Charles Sumner was actually correct; Brooks was offended by the truth. Modern day leftists suffer the same defect. McTurtle deserves the caning, Sumner did not.
YES!!!
What happens when one begins removing the foundations, by one block or section at a time?
The MSM wants veto power over candidates. At least Republican candidates.
Question for someone: was there anything to the accusations against Herman Caine?
When Roy Moore takes his rightfully won seat in the US Senate there will be one other Senator worthy of being called “Senator.” Maybe two, if you can count in Rand Paul. The rest of them are just a bucket of cocks the whole lot of them. So perhaps 3% of the US Senate deserve the honor of the title. That’s where we really are today.
_________
Right on.
What happens when one begins removing the foundations, by one block or section at a time?
______
What happens? The end of a fine, excellent, well constructed nation.... that's what happens.
These are some ugly times, but maybe there is some light in the near future.
Lincoln was too moderate for Charles Sumner and the vindictive Radical Republicans, a faction that would have hanged large numbers of defeated Confederates. He voted to impeach Andrew Johnson. He wanted to dissolve the Southern states, strip its citizens of the right to vote and have the states ruled as conquered territories. He finally met his match when he accused President Grant of being a corrupt tyrant.
Sumner would have made a great Bolshevik. Like Thaddeus Stephens and the other Radical Republicans, Sumner was one of the premier hate-mongers of his time. It should come as no surprise that they were admired by Marx and Engels who closely followed the American Civil War.
Tom Cotton is a quiet Senator, and he is good...
