I am certain the voters of Alabama are overjoyed to have both Northeastern, Democrats, Booker (New Jersey) and Patrick (Massachusetts) visit Alabama and tell the Rubes & Redneck, Religious freaks in Alabama just how to vote. Well, yeah, thats gotta be one of the top three reasons Moore will win. Its like Jones has never met anyone from Alabama, and has no clue who the voters are. LOL

The day after Moore wins, Al Franken will rescind his proposed resignation so he can continue the fight for justice for the victims of Republican abuse. :) Agreed. OTOH nobody has accused a Republican named Roy Moore of any abuse in the 1970s.
Before 1992, Mr. Moore was a Democrat.

My wife says this case would have been thrown out of court for tampering with the evidence.

They only lied a little. Only part of it is a forgery. It was a genuine bond your honor. Only three of the zeros were forgeries. A small matter.

The DA was undoubtedly added.
And, a person who traced over another person’s signature can say, “this IS his signature.” That’s different than saying “he personally signed this.”

No.
Roy Moore will win because Doug Jones is a revolting commie pinko.

You misunderstand. I'm talking about the feelings of Democrat's voting fodder, not the leadership or the DC head count. Democratic voters saw the DNC at its worst stealing the nomination for hillary, now they see their scheming to make Roy Moore look bad costing them Civil Rights icon Conyers (who did use illegal funds for hush money) and their willingness to sacrifice one of their most-loved US Senators, Al Franken.
All of a sudden "guilty until proven innocent" isn't so terrific.

The original report on this in the Washington Post included a quote from a handwriting expert who said the entire inscription was written by the same person. This can only mean that Nelson wrote the whole thing. LOL.
There is another possibility. It has been speculated that the original was written by someone named Ray. Originally I discounted that, figuring it was either Moore or Nelson who wrote it. But TigerClaws made what I consider an incisive point. The text of the inscription (at least of the color of ink which matched Merry Christmas) is said to go,
"To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say
Merry Christmas.
Love, Roy
You gotta admit, that is clunky. But if you read it Ray rather than Roy it is different.
"To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say
Merry Christmas.
Love, Ray
Im not saying it reminds me of Walt Whitman or anyone, but it is a rhyme. And I confess that, to my eye, the script ay in say does not look all that different from the putative oy in Roy.
If indeed both parts of the inscription were written by the same person, I wonder if it was not indeed Nelsons classmate Ray (and there is one, still living).

I read the comments on FB threads about this race. I check the negative ones and they are either out of state or country. A very few are from in state. Why do these out of staters care about this race?

Because the Senate is very tight 52-48. Several of the Republicans are squishy RINOs, and undependable.
President Trump is draining the swamp. If the Senate goes Democrat in 2018, his chances to do so drop dramatically.
A Democrat from Alabama increases the chance of stopping President Trump a great deal.

Why do these out of staters care about this race? It's all about power. If the Rats can pull off stealing this very safe seat they'll control the Senate with the help of the "Never Trumpers" who call themselves Republicans.

If the Senate goes Democrat in 2018, his chances to do so drop dramatically.IIRC the Rats have about 20 seats to defend next year and,IIRC,about 10 of them are in states that DJT carried.

Exactly
This is about control of the RINOs who would impeach
