California Gov. Jerry Brown (D) says President Trump's stance on climate change demonstrates that he does not appear to fear the "wrath of God" or have any regard for the "existential consequences" of his environmental policies.
I dont think President Trump has a fear of the Lord, the fear of the wrath of God, which leads one to more humility ... this is such a reckless disregard for the truth and for the existential consequences that can be unleashed, Brown said in an interview on CBS's "60 Minutes," which is set to air on Sunday.
Brown, who studied to become a Jesuit priest prior to entering politics, has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration.
His latest comments come as the southern portion of California battles massive wildfires that in just a few days have damaged thousands of acres of property and destroyed hundreds of buildings.

Interesting, isn’t it, when the few times left wingers EVER mention God?
Remember when Caiaphas, the High Priest, prophesied about Jesus being the “one man” to die for the “nation”? Well, I think we are seeing the same thing here. Of course, President Donald Trump doesn’t fear God in the sense Liberals mean, and he sure doesn’t fear “existential consequences”.
President Donald Trump is God’s Anointed for this time and purpose, and will be caught up with the rest of the Believers when Jesus calls for us.
I thought Moonbeam didn’t believe in God to begin with! At least the President does!
couldn't have said it better myself!!
If ever we would retake Cali..it’s going to truck loads of holy water, day and night, for months..possibly years.. just to get it back to reasonable order.
Tweedle dumb is supposed to be overseeing the environment of the left coast. He seems to have overlooked that environment. It is pretty toasty right now.I wonder if that is the wrath that hes talking about?
Bizarre! Truely bizzare! Does MoonDouche otherwise EVER consider God in any way manner shape or form?!
He is mocking God and that is when God often speaks loud and clear....a dangerous place to be in, Id say, Governor Brown.
A list of a few violations to God’s Word in your neck of town.
A, Abortion
B. Transgender relationships.
C. Allowing your state ( my state) to disregard the Law’s of the Land.....( Sanctuary cities)
and I could go on and on....
Brown has done a lot to screw up the lives of about 38 million Americans. He should talk.
The only existential circumstances Brown knows about are based on Marxist doctrine. He also has absolutely no knowledge of the presence of God.
Environmentalism is an existential threat to freedom. That is its primary function.
Another atheist nitwit demagogue from Californication presumes to speak for the Lord. Orrrr, that reference to "existential consequences" was a death threat against the POTUS, for which Brown should be arrested and jailed. Thanks Lera.
Seems like Governor Moonbeam never did give up the weed.
I am still embarrassed that I graduated from the same Jesuit High School that he did. In San Francisco, of all places. Sodom by the Bay
Too much weed, LSD and corn squeezins!
An unfair characterization.
The vast majority of graduates of Jesuit Schools, prior to 1975 or thereabouts made the label "Jesuit Education" proud.
For the record, the current Pope is NOT my pope!
If I were this baby-killing supporter, I’d be worried about my own “existential consequences” before God.
There should be a law against allowing lunatics to run for governor.
I can just see Brown preaching about God as his audience of leftist atheist recoil.
Impressive. Did Brown name the particular god whose temple Trump is ignoring? Maybe it is Brown himself who has fallen out of favor with the gods.
Brown was also a strong supporter of Rev. Jim Jones.
