Roy Moore accuser Beverly Young Nelson, with lawyer Gloria Allred in tow, conducted a press conference today pushing back against the idea that Moore’s yearbook signature was “forged,” despite admitting that she did add the date and location afterwards.
The yearbook note in question reads “To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say Merry Christmas. Christmas 1977. Love, Roy Moore, D.A. 12-22-77 Olde Hickory House.”
Allred told the press conference that her client had always meant to only include the signature and the Christmas greeting as being written by Moore, saying that she had the signature analyzed and it matched that of Moore.
“She never said that he wrote that,” Allred told the press, referring to the date and location that appear at the end of the quote.
Allred continued to speak highly of Nelson throughout the presser.
“She’s just so brave. I can’t tell you, this kind of courage is something that should inspire so many people, especially women,” she said.
The lawyer also added that Nelson could actually be in physical danger.
“I think she’s in danger and she knows it,” she said. “There are people who feel very comfortable saying things like ‘she should be stoned in the town square’ and sending a photo of a casket. Who does that?”/

Allred also noted that the duo would welcome the yearbook to be analyzed by the Senate.

So now these bytches are going into CYA mode. Nelson, to try to avoid civil and/or criminal liability. Allred, the same as well as salvaging any shred of credibility she has left, as well as trying to avoid any disciplinary action or disbarment proceedings. That’s whatchya get when you hire an incompetent shyster like Gloria Allred. Become your own lawyer and you’ll have a fool for a client. Hire Gloria Allred and you’ll have a DAMN fool for a client. I think it was originally signed by Ray. The a in Ray sorta could look like an o, so Moore's name was added and presto, it says Roy Moore. Look at the pix in 17 to see what I mean.

At 11 minutes in this video she states that “he even signed it D.A.”
In reading what he allegedly wrote, she says “olde Hickory House”. So she claims he wrote that.
Some people think the o in Roy looks like an a, and she went to school with a Ray Moore (what I’ve read. Don’t have links).
The signatures don’t match, but maybe he wouldn’t have signed S if he wasn’t signing something official.

IF that POS jones happens to win, I would hope said committee looks into jones slow walking cases while he was u.s. attorney. Namely the Paul Bryant Jr case involving insurance fraud.

Moore was NEVER the DA of Etowah County. He was the assistant for a few years, then a judge. The D.A. after his name was his law clerk’s initials. Moore never wrote D.A. It was either written by Nelson or Allred.
In the first line there is an “o” and an “a”. The letter after the R in the signature is an “a” not an “o”.
