ABC News reports Beverly Young Nelson will have a news conference later today. In this interview, she indicates that she added the date/location to the yearbook but maintains the signature is Roy Moore's.
The initials D A never stood for the words District Attorney in the first place.
They were the initials of Moore’s Court Clerk.
Yeah, I think that variation of the legal point is pretty much a boilerplate instruction in all jury trials.

This still does not make sense.
There are two kinds of ink used - black or dark blue, and also light blue. The light blue “date and place” ink is the same ink as the name “Moore” and the initials D.A.”
One would assume that all the light blue ink was done at the same time. So she didn’t just add the placed and date, she added the last name and the D.A. as well.
I have been one on here that has been out there saying that she was believable and the yearbook seemed like it was credible and needed to be handed over to be examined.
Now that she is admitting that she partially forged the yearbook entry, it is hard to believe anything she says, not on such an important issue as an election. The questions as to why she didn’t come out with this years before and why right now I was always suspicious about but that did not mean this stuff didn’t happen.
I felt that she was the main reason why he needed to step down in this race as she was credibly alleging attempted rape. The only other allegation that bothered me was attempting to have sex with a 14 year old when he was in his 30’s. He didn’t and while it seems to me that 40 years ago, he was a sleazy character, the stuff out there should not be barring him from running for office.
I think with this new information out there, McConnel and company need to shut up. I think Roy Moore was going to be elected before this info, but now I think it’s almost a certainty.
My bet is a very quiet notification of a libel\slander suit made her ‘fess up.
This pretty well demonstrates that Moore was subjected to an accusation campaign and that all accusers are liars.

So corrupt ABC got duped and misreported a lie as fact, (over and over) and now will attempt to cover their ars by “adjusting” the story.

In both instances the designated 'bomb dropper' got wind that a competitor was going to scoop them, hence the 'sooner than they wanted to' release.
