If you've ever wanted to go to an NFL game and you have five dollars in your pocket, then this is the perfect week to do it.
As of Thursday afternoon, there are actual NFL tickets that are selling on the secondary market for under five dollars. Of course, like all good deals, these tickets do come with a catch: You need to live near Buffalo, have a high tolerance for cold weather and be willing to sit through three hours of a Colts-Bills game.
A beer at the game would literally cost more than twice the price of your ticket.

As I approached the pub, the streets were icy and snowdrifts lined the sidewalks. People were bundled up but mostly friendly. But it was toasty warm inside. I ordered a beer and then a burger and fries. Then some more beer. Like most bars these days, there were flat screen TVs showing taped sporting events that nobody was paying attention to. The usual Journey and Five For Fighting songs played over the stereo system. It was fairly busy that night and bartenders/waitstaff were moving at a rapid clip with a lot of plates clattering and glasses clinking.
Afterwards, I paid my tab, wrapped a scarf around my neck, buttoned up my wool coat, put on my hat and gloves and plunged into the icy darkness of a cold and blustery Buffalo night.
I want to know if the ad rates will drop.
If they paid me $50 to go I might think about it.
But then again I have toilets to clean
With fewer people watching, count on it.
What’s an NFL game?
The lowest Patriots’ ticket is about $115.00.
They pi$$ed on my flag. Go to hell, NFL!
Both the beer and the ticket.
I am from Boston. I have seen about 1 minute this season despite the fact Patriots stand.
Folks, if you think it’s good now, wait until next year when not watching football becomes normal for folks that used to otherwise spend all Sunday and Monday night watching the TV.
NFL, meet fist.
No, wait.......
They’re all in the bathroom, yeah! That’s the ticket
I’ve never seen a football game in my life-—I hate the sport-————I was curious about the costs, though.
.
ditto!!
Oh i am sure Pats games are packed with fans.
LOL. "Put in LaMonica!"
I’ve heard that same explanation for empty seats at Yankee games. They said that those choice seats right behind the plate were empty, because those fans were in the on site restaurant. No mention of how expensive those seats are..........
not even if they paid me five dollars
Yes!!!
Even free, I still would not go.
I don't think so. My brothers and I have not gone this year.
