Czech President Milos Zeman hinted on Thursday that his country could follow the United States and move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem “sooner or later”.
“[President] Trump’s decision makes me happy because when I visited Israel four years ago, I said that I would like to transfer the embassy, and that if that happens, we will be the first to do so,” said the Czech president in a television interview.
He added that “every country has the right to decide which city will serve as its capital, and by the same token, every country has the right to decide where its embassy will be located.”
“Trump’s move was meant to demonstrate the self-confidence of the United States, and that’s very positive,” continued Zeman.

Politics is a dance. Somebody has to lead. Trump is the alpha and he’s leading. (None of this irritating “leading from behind” digested, excreted stuff.)
Zeman probably can’t make the call himself. He will probably have to build a support base for the idea and then make the call. The US president has extraordinary powers granted to him that most world leaders don’t have. So, things work differently in other countries depending on what powers they have.
Are you implying that USA is leading? So...what do we infer? That Trump is making America great again?
Actually, our Congress already approved moving our embassy to Jerusalem years ago. They were just waiting for a real President to show up.
Please help me remember...this ‘controversy’ of America moving her Embassy and declaring Jerusalem the ‘capital’ of Israel was first voted on AND APPROVED BY OUR CONGRESS in, what? 1995?
And ALL OF OUR PRESIDENTS since then, just signed some sort of ‘waiver’ EVERY SIX MONTHS, kicking that can down the road since then? (I’ll bet that was the highlight of 0bama’s rein of terror!)
And now President Trump has picked up the can and is using it as a megaphone...and everyone is bent over this?

sorry mister Czech man, I don’t agree. I don’t want - for instance - muslim countries saying they want their embassy in the USA in certain places. I think each country can work with each country to say where embassy ends up. If host country o k with it great, if not then guest embassy cannot be there.
