Eh, repeatedly referring Trump in the story shows their pathetic left-wing bias (plenty of high-profile celebs have done MUCH worse than him and made a bigger impact), but the actual choice for "Person of the Year" makes sense this time. The selection criteria has always been "A person, a group, an idea, or an object that "for better or for worse has done the most to influence the events of the year". I would agree that people coming forward to accuse famous people of sexual assault has been the biggest news story of 2017. In fact, it shouldn't even reference Trump, since the Trump election was 2016 and whole Hollywood scandal happened long after that election.
I would have headlined the cover with "The Accuser" (with a photo of an angry young woman pointing a finger) as "Person of the Year 2017" (not "The Silence Breakers", as some of these accusers are making it up)
I still think The Grim Reaper should have been "Man of the Year" in 2016, though. Seems like EVERYONE we cared about dropped dead that year.
