President Donald Trump’s behavior is out of the ordinary for a president, according to veteran news reporter Dan Rather Monday night on the TBS talk show "Conan."
"A lot of young people, well, people of all ages don’t know, from one day to the next, what he’s going to do, what he’s going to say," host Conan O’Brien said.
"It is important for us to remember this is not normal," Rather said.
He noted that some presidents have not liked the press, but no president has behaved as Trump has toward the press. "We’ve never had one that steadily, out of his own mouth, waged such an unrelenting campaign against the press," he said.

Dan defines “normal” as the George W Bush approach — the Media relentless beats up on and demeans the sitting Republican president and the President apologizes and/or says nothing. That’s “normal”.

Agree. Trump actually uses his brain, thinks like those of us who have actually worked for a living, and best of all, he has not MADE UP NEWS that was so poorly thought out that a web blogger showed how utter Craptastic Rather was.

Thanks Dan, for that insight. It is normal however to falsify a news story? It is normal to create fake memo’s? Remember that this low IQ idiot thought normal was to make a fake typed memo with typewriter font on a computer. I bet he has video of Robert E Lee somewhere. Grainy black and white of course so it looks old.

I recall reading a story somewhere that back in the early 1960s (during the early part of Dan’s TV career) that his makeup kit had been lost by the airline he was travelling on for work related purposes. He did not report it lost because he was afraid he would be laughed at by airline personnel if he were to try to tell them that he had lost his makeup kit.
Not to mention the time Dapper Dan the News Man walked off the set because CBS decided to shorten the CBS Evening News to broadcast the end of a tennis match on Friday, 11 September 1987.
Dapper Dan's little snit resulted in six minutes of dead air.
