Foreign Lobbyists Contributed More Than $4.5 Million to Candidates in 2016 Elections (Hillary #1)
Maplight ^ | December 4, 2017

Since Donald Trump won the presidency, concerns about whether Russia played a hidden role in the 2016 election have simmered, and lawmakers have warned about the prospect of stealth foreign influence over American politics. But data compiled by International Business Times and MapLight show that foreign influence is hardly confined to the shadows. It’s a big, open, bipartisan business, with foreign government lobbyists delivering millions of dollars of campaign cash to elected officials in Washington.

In all, during the last election, those lobbyists gave more than $4.5 million to federal lawmakers and candidates. Foreign lobbyists and their firms’ political action committees were also responsible for packaging a total of $5.9 million in donations for candidates and party committees, through an influence-enhancing tactic known as “bundling.”

Because the donations come from foreign governments’ U.S.-based lobbyists, they effectively circumvent American laws designed to bar direct foreign donations. Under federal law, foreign nationals are prohibited from donating to any federal, state, or local campaigns, or political parties. But foreign governments frequently hire U.S. citizens to represent their interests, and those people face no such contribution ban.

How will, ‘We The People’ EVER get Big Money OUT of Politics?
I don’t see how it’s even remotely possible.

Absolute bull s**t.

Saudi Prince Alaweed bragged about giving Hillary Clinton Campaign over 300 million dollars for the 2016 election alone

The ruler of Bahrain paid Hillary Clinton a 16 million dollar contribution to the Clinton Foundation just to set up a meeting with Sec of State Clinton and another 16 million once she approved his wish list

So one bribe to Hillary accounts for 32 million all by itself

I agree wholeheartedly that foreign lobbying should be a felony, even if no deal is formalized.

Another click-bait headline. Totally unreliable.

Here's what the article actually says:

"There are lots of ways for people to get illegal money to campaigns,” Noble said. “It’s not an easy thing to prove.”

In other words, the true figure could be more or less than $4.5 million.

Making the Clintons Pay
American Thinker ^ | Dec 03, 2017 | Scott S. Powell
Posted on 12/3/2017, 3:53:39 AM by Oshkalaboomboom

Few would deny that the ascendance of the United States from colonial poverty to the world’s top economic and military superpower in just 200 years is largely attributable to principles and rule of law in our founding documents enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

And so it should come as no surprise that America’s decline in the last 25 years has coincided with the erosion of the U.S. Constitution and the corruption of the nation’s law enforcement and judicial system.

What has most greased the skids of America’s decline toward the ways of a banana republic is the emergence and acceptance of two-tiered justice and attendant cronyism and political corruption. And nowhere is this more obvious than in the pass given to the Clintons, and particularly former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

When the Clintons left the White House in 2001, taking with them over $190,000 worth of heirloom china, flatware, rugs, and furniture as they cleared out — much of which they later had to return — they claimed they were flat broke. Today their net worth exceeds $150 million, accumulated not by traditional means of work and investment, but rather by pay-for-play influence peddling through speeches and Clinton Foundation fundraising — with the tacit understanding that the Clintons would be in a position to return favors to donors after Hillary won the 2016 presidential election.

A key function of our law enforcement and justice system is of course the punishment of lawbreakers. But perhaps more important is the judicial system’s function in preventing repeat or escalated lawbreaking and deterring other would-be copycat lawbreakers.

Wall Street financial analyst, Charles Ortel, claims he's discovered new evidence that the Clinton Foundation mismanaged, “perhaps intentionally,” financial and regulatory reporting required by US federal and state governments for charities under tax-exempt status.

At the Foundation's lavish Morocco meeting hosted by a king, Bill Clinton was asked by a billionaire donor what Clinton was doing w/ the Foundations' donations.

The Foundation donor referred to the blizzard of adverse publicity that monies sent to the Foundation were not used as intended.

"What is this money for? What have you done with it?," he asked Clinton. The billionaire donor also told Clinton his daughter (a Foundation Board member) felt useless.....b/c apparently Board Members were not advised of some of Clinton's "charitable" activities.

"I just work here," Clinton responded. "I don't know." So if Foundation founder Bill Clinton did not know---and the Board did not know---who knew?

CONCLUSION If Foundation Board members were not advised of, and did not sign off on, expenditures of tax-exempt Foundation donations, the Clintons have a legal problem that could involve violation of tax laws. Board members of Foundations are fiduciaries and are required to oversee the distribution of tax-exempt donations.

===============================================

NOTE TO ORTEL Several state and federal agencies the Clintons listed as donors told news outlets they did not contribute to the Clinton Foundation.

<><> EPA said there's no record of donations to the Clinton Foundation.

<><> The “Office of Minority Health and Human Services,” is listed but it's not clear what this donation referred to, or even which federal or state office it came from.

<><> The Arkansas Dept of Human Services received a donor "gift receipt" but said they never expended tax dollars to the Foundation.

Conniving Hillary set up her own private State Dept outside the US gov’t......and even used a private server to conduct govt business. Now it seems that Obama did not know about this. ROTFLOL

<><> He did not know that Hillary signed off on Bill's lucrative deals w/ foreign govts?

<><> Obama did not know that Bill and Hill were jerking around major areas of US foreign policy?

<><> He did not know Adedin's bgrnd?

<><> He did not know Hillary gave her aide Huma Abedin special status---to have an outside job while working at State.

<><> Obama did not know Abedin's side jobs as a "private consultant" worked for a company that employed Bill Clinton?

<><> He did not know her aide, Huma Abedin, was using Hillary's "private" eamil server?

<><> Obama knew zilch about all of it?

Hillary the Arms Dealer
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/27/15 | Matthew Vadum / FR Posted by Sean_Anthony

Clinton Foundation donations funded State Dept approval of arms shipments to repressive governments. During the time Hillary Clinton was America’s Secy of State, she oversaw approved $165 billion worth of commercial arms sales to 20 nations.....governments that forked over millions of dollars to the now-embattled Clinton Foundation.

According to an International Business Times report by David Sirota and Andrew Perez, “at least seven foreign governments that received State Department clearance for American arms did donate to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary.” The article identified the seven nations as Algeria, Australia, Kuwait, Norway, Oman, Qatar, and Thailand.

Mainstream media’s surprisingly probing coverage of the unfolding Clinton Foundation donations-for-favors scandal suggests that reporters have turned on the Clintons in the age of Obama.

And the fact that the IBT piece was co-authored by Marxist author and radio talk show host David Sirota adds to the growing pile of evidence that some of the more ideologically pure progressives in the Democratic Party are ganging up on Mrs. Clinton in order to help as yet undeclared presidential candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).(Excerpt) Read more at canadafreepress.com ...

(More below--Hillary sucks up to Qatar--arms buyer, and a major Foundation donor.)

According to the IBT report, “at least seven foreign governments received State Dept clearance for American arms AND are on-record as donors to the Clinton Foundation while Hillary was Secy of State.” Oman and Qatar were named as countries favored for arms sales by Hillary's State Dept.

CIRCA 2002--THE OMAN-QATAR-CLINTON CONNECTION---
The Clinton Foundation took $1,250,000 (that we know of)
from Mideast kingdom--Qatar---(recently exposed as embroiled in FIFA bribery).

The Clinton presidential library in Arkansas lists Brunei, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar as donors that gave between $1 million and $5 million (at the time of research).

The Clinton foundation itself confirmed the 2002 Brunei donation: "The Clinton Foundation's impact would not be possible without the generous support of our donors," the foundation's website reads. "Their contributions have made a difference in the lives of tens of millions across the world." Read more at foxnews.com ...

==============================================

Qatar became the new home of the Gitmo Five via the infamous Bergdahl swap.

==================================================

Hillary later told Fox's Greta Van Susteren that Qatar was "not a threat to the US." Hillary never mentioned Qatar subsidizing the Clinton Library/Foundation.

Hillary's remarks lead some to believe the donation was a payoff....Hillary bribed to defend Qatar....blatantly ignoring America's ntl security interests.

LAUGH BREAK The Clinton Presidential Library bills itself as "linking the significance of
a 20th century American presidency with the ongoing
and far-reaching work of The Clinton Global Foundation."

(waiting for hysterical laughter to die down)

No mention of Clinton being impeached and disbarred for lying.

====================================================

REALITY CHECK Despite its grandiose self-promotion, The William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park---- is just another "Clinton Cash" snake pit.....subsidized by taxpayers,....and some shady foreign characters.

==================================================

REMEMBER THIS? As Hollywood hotshots protested the Beverly Hills Hotel over its ownership by Brunei's sultan and his embrace of Sharia law, it turns out the Brunei government has financial connections to the Clintons.

AND THIS Bill Clinton and pedophile Jeffrey Epstein flew on Epstein’s private jet in 2002 to meet with the Sultan of Brunei.....one of the richest men in the world. The National Enquirer reported flight logs reveal Epstein — before he was arrested and jailed for soliciting teenage masseuses — picked up Clinton at a Japanese naval airport. The mega-rich Sultan later donated between $1-5 million to the Clinton Presidential Library in Arkansas.

The Clinton Foundation motto: "Do-Good but Make A Buck On It." Clinton crony Sid Blumenthal as a high-paid Clinton Foundation employee unveils the opportunistic world of Bill and Hillary — money, charity and politics are all linked in their own tightly formed bubble.

Clinton’s ‘old friend’ Sid Blumenthal; foundation employee had top secret State Dept intel
New York Post ^ | 5-29-15 | Editorial / FR Posted by afraidfortherepublic

To hear Hillary Clinton tell it, Sidney Blumenthal was no more than an old friend trying to help out by dropping her an occasional unsolicited e-mail with advice. And the only reason she listened, she said, was to keep from being “caught in the bubble” of hearing only from “a certain small group of people.”

Now we know better. Turns out Blumenthal was no casual correspondent: He was repeatedly plying her with dubious “intelligence” on Libya — much of which turned out to be false, but which she nonetheless passed on to State Department underling.

In fact, Bill Clinton in 2009 hired Blumenthal as a $10,000-a-month full-time employee of the family “charitable” foundation — even as Sid was also working with two groups pushing Hillary’s campaign. And “consulting” for a firm with business interests in Libya that would’ve required State approval. Hillary actually wanted to bring Blumenthal — once termed “the most pro-Clinton writer on the planet” — on board at State.

White House officials nixed that, still furious over Sid’s role during the 2008 campaign in spreading dirt on Obama. We have no idea what Blumenthal did to earn his foundation pay, but Hillary’s pretense that he’s ever been less than a key member of the Clinton inner circle is ludicrous. For decades, Blumenthal has fed both Clintons dirt on their foes and helped fuel their “vast right-wing conspiracy” fantasies. Despite Hillary’s disavowal, he never left the middle of that Clinton bubble.

And Clinton — followed quickly by the rest of Team Obama — sure seized on his assurance that the attack on the Benghazi consulate was a spontaneous reaction to an anti-Islam video. (And never mind all the evidence that it was a long-planned terrorist attack.) (Excerpt) Read more at nypost.com ...
