P!
Try Iran...and the billions of dollars we released to them.
Ahh...that would be China....in furtherance of its hegemony! Take it to the bank.
That war in Korea in the 1950s......
You know, the one that didn’t have a peace treaty......
Whose side was China on?
They fought with North Korea against the United States.
Let’s see.....
North Korea.....communist.
China.....communist.
I wonder who is helping North Korea?
Maybe it’s Sweden.
Hardly a secret. North Korea’s “Musudan” IRBM is a copy of the Russian SS-N-6 SLBM, deployed on Soviet ballistic missile subs from the late 60s to the early 80s. Moscow claimed the plans it sold to Pyongyang had been “de-nuclearized,” and amazingly, the U.S. went along with the deal. The Musudan has been one of the DPRK’s less successful designs, but it’s an example of outside technology finding its way into North Korean designs. Heck, most DPRK designs can trace their roots to the unguided FROG-7 and early SCUD models sold to Pyongyang 30-40 years ago.
NK has also had access to missile and nuclear technology from Pakistan, through the A.Q. Kahn network. And with Iran bankrolling much of the effort, Pyongyang has been able to greatly accelerate R&D efforts. Thanks again, Barack Hussein Obama.
The only scenario I can figure that ANYONE gains...is if Russia is the supplier and Iran the financier.
Obama settlement money could be funding this.
A wedge between the US and China is in Russia’s strategic interest. And tying the US up in an imminent conflict over WMD/Nukes/Missiles is in Iran’s strategic interest.
China and the rest of Asia lose big in all scenarios.
Either I’m nuts, or one has to wonder why a layman can figure it out and the country’s security organs can’t.
ex-NATO commander ginning up hysteria to increase his stock options in war profiteers
Put out the word, if the norks attack us we’re all going down.
If you’re China or Russia, why spend money and treasure directly on destroying America when you can get Fatboi to do it for you?
Good post. Political people need to be reminded of it repeatedly.
Yes.
*eyeroll*
Good thing we have smart people to tell us the obvious.
