North Koreans who defected but once lived near a nuclear testing site in the rogue nation now believe they are experiencing the dangerous effects of exposure to harmful radiation — and it's triggered severe health problems, according to a report published Sunday.
"So many people died we began calling it 'ghost disease,'" Lee Jeong Hwa, who in 2010 escaped her home in Kilju County where the nuclear testing site Punggye-ri is located, told NBC News. "We thought we were dying because we were poor and we ate badly. Now we know it was the radiation."
Lee isn’t the only defector who believes the radiation is taking its toll on people who lived there.
South Korean newspaper Chosun Ilbo reported in November that close to two dozen defectors said the area surrounding Punggye-ri is turning into a “wasteland” where vegetation is dying and babies are born with deformities.

Not really, since it looks like form an earlier article today that Lil Kim is getting ready to try again with the testing - and perhaps in open air.
Maybe the radiation will kill all the worms the North Korean people have.

If this is true, then China has detected it from across their border. So much for China not putting up the North Korea soiling their nation.
Seems to me you could’t have this level of a problem without it being detectable from a distance.
Well, if there’s anything Kim doesn’t need, it’s more hungry people. He looks on that death toll as a fringe benefit of his nuclear program.
Don’t expect liberals to care too much either. Their hatred for Trump eclipses everything else.
At least the Soviets evacuated Pripyat. Never thought I’d find something worse than the USSR.

My co-worker went back to China to get married. His parents live near the NK border and he was there during the last nuke test. He played for me the siren that went off in the village when the explosion happened on his smart phone.

China has to be keeping tabs on radiation levels and it’s only common sense that the levels are high.
Still, China has kept quiet about it.

Kimmy will be greased by one of his trusted generals.
I’ve heard that Kimmy is basically nothing but a figurehead while the generals run things behind the scenes.
Kind of like Hirohito, when really behind the scenes it was Tojo and the generals running things.
Hopefully sooner rather than later.
If the generals are in charge, how to explain execution by anti aircraft gun... or perhaps starving dogs? These innovations seem to be Kim Kong In related.
