Because finally, finally this country has elected someone not of, by, and for the swamp, someone who owes them nothing and does not fear them: Donald J. Trump. I freaking love Donald Trump. The reason the swamp hates him, of course, is manifold. He is proven to be a potent crusher of political correctness and polite society, the way things are supposed to be said, i.e. not on Twitter, and a crusher of that elite vanguard also known as the swamp. He came in and he promised to smash their corrupt existing order, to overturn the money changers' tables. Right? To make representative government representative again and to make – to have them earn the consent of the governed, which is what the Founders had in mind when they created this exceptional nation, and in so doing, he promised to restore respect for the Constitution, to restore government back to its proper place, and to restore mighty American economic growth, to, yeah, make America great again. A simple concept, how refreshing after years of being dominated and ruled by the swamp.

The real reason they hate him is that he is giving US a last chance to retain the rule of law and keep our country.

She blows away all the smoke from the battlefield. It still stings that someone as smart as Monica is not working for the administration. Of course they thought they got Gorka and Bannon too — not hardly! They are all still in the fight, swinging hard and landing punches.

When it was known that DJT would be running, it was felt my Fairy GodMother had suddenly appeared out of nowhere to fulfill EVERY wish I might have had. Immediately, began a “Bucket List” for our new, “ballsy” President:

I would like to see Tammy Bruce get a show on Fox. I KNOW SHE’S A LESBIAN, so no need to bring that to my attention. But with her years as President of a NOW chapter (before her “conversion” during the Lewinsky issue), she has a unique perspective when debating the ‘Rat pundits. She recognizes the crap they spew and calls them on it.

Exactly. Every day Trump is there, and every judge that gets confirmed (and he is doing quite well at the appellate level, where it counts), moves the day we lose our country back a bit. A couple more justices on the Supreme Court (providing at least one being replaced is Ginsberg), will buy us at least a decade. Ending chain migration buys us even more time. Ending voter fraud, more time again.
If we do buy enough time, the US just may survive as is. If not, the country is simply lost FOREVER. The Dems will never let it go again, not in the our lifetime, our kid’s lifetime or even our grandparents lifetime. The Democrats are not dumb...if they can get complete and implement their plan, the only option left for Americans would be taking up arms (at least whatever ones we have left). I don’t want to see that day, not one bit.
Bruce left NOW because of their unwillingness to criticize the Bent One when the sex scandals were coming out. I’m a big fan of hers.
LOL My Grandmother was adamant that this show should never be missed. Bad enough we had one “Queen for a day” that we would see ourselves electing another right after the first; two consecutive might set a trend. GOD forbid! BTW, this doesn’t ‘date’ me; it only shows how well versed in American history my education might be. :-)
In a lot of senses Trump is a test, and at the moment they're failing it: is there still respect enough left for the country's political processes to permit a peaceful transition of power to the side out of power? Can totalitarians permit a return to dissent? Can ideologues remember the fact that half of a pie is better than throwing the entire thing on the floor? At this point the answer to those questions is no. Trump stands between this process and overt violence, and the first instances of that violence have already been broached by Antifa and cheered on by their sympathizers, both of whom appear shocked at the blowback.
People who value freedom will always be at a disadvantage toward those who use theirs to take it away. That's just an inherent part of the system. So is violence when there is no other alternative left. My advice to my liberal friends is hold onto Trump, because they won't like what's left when legal succession to office is no longer an option.
