Congress needs to create some federal judge who works only for them, and when you have contempt...he can step in and just detain the contempt-folks until they realize their ‘mistake’. After a while, you wouldn’t have these attitudes like this anymore.

“Nunes met and spoke to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, York reported, to no avail.”
This scum ball Rosenstein needs to be gone tomorrow.

They're putting Trump in the position of cleaning house by suddenly firing several key people, including Jeff Sessions.
Trump's presidency may soon parallel his hit show "The Apprentice" where people waited and yearned to hear.. "YOU'RE FIRED."

I generally hold Congress in contempt.
They’ve never come after me.

Nunes won’t let Rosenstein get away with this either. I believe he’s got him by the short-hairs with a subpoena.
Looks like the FBI had the MSM wait and sit on the news until they got Flynn. The NY Times and Washington Post then reported this months-old scandal on the SAME Friday afternoon after Flynn’s metaphorical “perp walk.”
Pray that God grants Sessions the moral courage he seems to be lacking. That’s more effective than cursing the wind.

House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) has instructed committee staff to prepare to cite the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in contempt of Congress I am sure the FBI will all be quaking in their boots.

Is Mueller accountable to anyone? Who pays his salary? When does he get the money to spend on th einvestigation?

Last line of the article:
"During the Obama administration, Attorney General Eric Holder was found in contempt of Congress for failing to turn over documents on Operation Fast and Furious, which caused the death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry."The resulting lack of accountability in that instance illustrates not only the utter uselessness of Congressional umbrage, but the way forward for Dems and leftists to escape consequences for astonishingly-illegal actions: Just refuse to produce subpoenaed documents and dare them to do something about it,

He gets his money from another one of those special funds, like the one they pay women off for sexual harassment, this from the congressman from Florida who introduced legislation to abolish these funds.

What if Rosenstein ignores the subpoena? What does it matter if Congress holds someone in contempt? There are no consequences.

"What if Rosenstein ignores the subpoena? What does it matter if Congress holds someone in contempt? There are no consequences."
Too true. Eric Holder wears his Contempt of Congress citation as a badge of honor and makes millions for "standing up for the man" even though he was the man.

Anyone Freepers included who thinks that this Mueller investigation has some secret plan to vere toward the Clintons has lost their mind.
Weve had three Tump associates arrested and charged on minor misdeeds NO Clinton campaign associates. Trump associates seem to be the only ones being interviewed NO Clinton campaign associates.
Now we find out as part of this Peter Strzok dismissal that Nunes has been chasing him to testify for months, and is ready to file contempt charges against the DOJ including (surprise) Rod Rosenstein. Jeff Sessions is a worthless piece of s**t for starting this mess, and even more worthless for not pursuing the real collusion culprits.
