Try running a business when everything you do regarding employees is regulated by “health and safety” and “equal opportunity” rules. It’s ridiculous. Employment is supposed to be a sacred bond between the individual worker and the employer. The government should have no say.
I would be in favor of banning immigration for the next 20 years. But wage stagnation isn’t a problem. It’s just the market at work. We should let the marketplace set wages in an unimpeded manner. Americans these days expect too much. People who are worth more should get more and people who are worth less should get less.
Just stopping immigration alone would boost wages immediately.
