“The brutal killer, who cannot be named to protect the identities of his three children, is facing life behind bars after he pleaded guilty to the horrific killing in June last year.”

We never signed. Don’t violate war on terrorists though...same as cops on criminals.Or me on home invaders.

Re: “Hollow points would violate The Geneva Convention.”

I have no idea - but I just came across this sentence while reading a Wikipedia review of the M17...

“The ammunition chosen to go with the pistol is a “Winchester jacketed hollow point” round.”

Only for those countries that are part of the Geneva Convention. It does not cover terrorists.

Hollow points would violate The Geneva Convention.

The Geneva Convention does not cover ammunition bans. There was a part of the Hague convention that did and the United States did not sign that part of the treaty.

Hollow points would violate The Geneva Convention.

A common misperception. It is actually the Hague convention and the US is not a signatory.

Of course, the usual way armies enforce this in the field is that anyone captured with hollow point ammo is summarily executed. The brass usually gets the message in a short while.

No, they violate The Hague conventions. We are not a signatory.
