My kid and I recently joined a kickboxing gym and the workouts are intense. The instructor told us that the best thing to put in your body after the workout is protein and real sugar.
Guess what was suggested?
Chocolate milk!

Volunteer Mom I know for a middle-school X/Country Team who is a runner and eats healthy etc etc.
Do you know what her finish line victory drink was to replenish these young athletes?
Ice Cold Chocolate Milk.
Said Mom did the research, it was the best period, not all the fru-fru drinks or Gator-whatever...
