LONDON — The British revolt against President Trump swelled Thursday with Parliament members openly deriding him and Britain’s prime minister standing by her denunciations of Trump’s retweets of a fringe group’s anti-Muslim videos.
Prime Minister Theresa May blasted Trump for crossing a line by posting the inflammatory videos on his Twitter page Wednesday — and then warning May to essentially mind her own business and focus on Islamist terrorism instead of him.
But officials were careful to note that ties with the United States are stronger than the current flare-up with the White House.
“It’s increasingly clear that any official visit from President Trump to Britain would not be welcomed,” tweeted London’s mayor, Sadiq Khan, the first Muslim to hold the office. Khan has repeatedly called for Britain to withdraw an invitation for Trump to visit — and his stance appeared to gain backing amid the outrage against the president.
In a sign of the disruptive wake unleashed by Trump, British Home Secretary Amber Rudd had to remind Parliament and the public that Britain’s relationship with the United States was bigger than one president — and that important trade, security and intelligence sharing are ongoing.

Your issue up to this point seems to have been Trump’s twitter activity. Do you think that perhaps a President might have access to information to which you yourself are not privy?
Britain first is not a fascist or racist organization. They represent the real British people, like Tommy Robinson does. Don't fall for the lies. To be even more honest, we need to up our propaganda campaign. Trump is doing a great job so far cutting through the politically correct cover the moslems hide behind.
More people need to be honest, including those stupid cucks in charge in England and Europe.

And Trump sets the Standard of Mastery in that regard.

Everyone makes mistakes, of course. But if (and that’s a big if) Trump has shot himself in the foot here, that’s something we don’t need.
Given all that you know and have witnessed of the atrocities committed by Islamic barbarians here and across the world, why are you skeptical of these videos? It’s not like it’s out of character for these animals to brutally murder innocents, rape women, kill homosexuals, or Jews. We’ve seen all these things in real time - many of these acts carried out as mass murder events. If anything, you should be questioning why governments (any of them) desire to cover-up the extent of these atrocities in their own country and leave their citizens to be repeatedly victimized by these Muzzies by criminally prosecuting anyone who cries out against it for using “hate speech.”
They were not anti-Muslim videos. They were recordings of actions taken by m*zzlims.

Anyone, who suggests that President Trump stops using Twitter is like the LBJ/Obama thugs who disarmed those of us in the military while on duty during their miserable presidencies. Nothing like standing watch with an empty 1911 and no clips with bullets.
Twitter is our President’s tool/weapon to silence those who want to do away with him. We will not stop him from using his weapon when he needs to.

Good post yours. But I wasn’t thinking about my fellow Freepers when I posted previously. I was thinking about the general public. Many of them just don’t understand the lethal danger that radical Islam presents.
So Trump tweets three videos. One of them looks like it was misrepresented (see my post #66). So what will the general public hear? They will hear that Trump posted something bad about Islam, and that his post was false. All negative stories about Islam then become suspect.
We cannot afford these sort of missteps. The stakes are too high. Islam or the West. Only one will survive 100 years from now.
They are like democrats.

I agree. I have a good assortment of British friends on a chat app. Many of them recognize the invasion. More than a few surmise the Muslims men are so angry cuz they have to deal with 30 wives when most Brit guys think just one is enough PITA.

My initial thought was “I bet you could easily go interview a bunch of Brits on the street and get the real story and then just post it to Youtube.”
Then my media cynicism kicked in, and I thought, “Yeah, but how many people would even see it? Especially a response to a specific article from a dying rag like the Washington Post.”
Then sadness kicked in. “I bet the normal Brits who would actually give you an accurate impression of what the average British citizen feels would be terrified to say it on camera. Between the Muslims, the SJWs, and their own government, they probably already know they’re be hell to hell to pay putting their face out there with ‘wrong’ message.”

I think your important point is getting lost in some noise here.
Some around here seem to think that asking for proof of a veracity of a claim is somehow not supporting the president. It’s nothing of the kind. He’s not God, and so like any man should be expected to be able to prove any allegation. And in fact if he’s able to prove the video is what is claimed than it only will strengthen his position even more. That some around here don’t seem to get that is mind boggling.
I say this because, some may not be aware, but the current criticism against these videos are that they are fake. Specifically the one allegedly showing a group of Muslims throwing a Dutch kid off a roof. If one goes to Trumps Twitter page and looks at the comments about it there there are some leftists there that claim it’s a video of a group of Dutch kids from a year ago committing the atrocity. They say it’s old news over there and has been debunked.
So that’s where the requiement of proof comes in. And also where all this backlash is coming from. It’s not that some people don’t believe it’s a horrible act caught on video. No one can deny that. But they are saying it’s not what Britain First (and Trump) are saying it is.
So like it or not he does need to prove the video is really what Britain First says it is. Or else people are just going to dismiss this as “racist garbage” (as they already are now) and it will ultimately hurt his credibility.
Let me be clear there’s nothing wrong with retweeting such a video or videos to get the message out about such barbarity. You just can’t rely on faked material to do it. There is no rebuttal, that makes sense, if there’s a claim the original material is fake. You have to prove it’s not or else the truth (about Islamic terrorism) gets overshadowed by such a claim. It’s a common leftist tactic of course but it’s easily countered if there’s proof of the video’s veracity.
It’s not too much to ask to be able to prove to anyone who would doubt it that it is what it claims to show. For anyone to think such a simple request is somehow caving to anything is absolutely ludicrous. That’s just engaging in hero worship, something we always (rightly) accuse the left of doing re Obama, Clinton, etc. We can’t let ourselves go down that same road.
I believe his actions are far more calculated and a lot less impulsive than some people here seem to believe, as well.

Their furor over President Trump’s actions aren’t because the videos are false.
It is because the message of the videos is true.
And by tweeting the videos Trump showed them up on the international stage for the traitorous muslim enabling poofters that they really are.
Why don’t the real British Patriots rise up and reclaim their country?
Because they do not have a Second Amendment.
Their ancestors allowed the government to confiscate their guns little by little over the last 100 years.
