It is most definitely a loaded question, because it’s clearly part of a personal obsession you have with attempting to discrediting a well-respected FReeper, to whom you do not hold a candle.

If you have any hopes of debunking an argument you’ll have to do a much better job of representing what that argument was in the first place.

Your oft repeated and, yes, loaded question of whether we can agree that Trump and Meuller are not on the same team is getting you nowhere.

If you are open-minded, humble, ready to learn, and curious to hear someone else’s opinion about something, you would ask “what do you think about [blank]?”, and respectfully allow that person answer in their own words.

Attempting to trap people by repeating loaded “yes” or “no” questions is a fine trick for lawyers, but on FR it is a sign of insecurity and a weak argument.

How convenient for them, this takes Kate verdict off the front pages.

That was actually my very first thought this morning when this news broke. Mueller's announcements have been too coincidental, to keep happening like this over and over.

Radio news reported a few days ago that Flynn's son was under investigation for some dang thing

Well, there it is. Just heard on FOX Flynn threw Trump under the bus. So, here it goes.

The big charge is that DT instructed Flynn to talk to the Russians. I hope that is an being misconstrued. Otherwise this will drag on until the mid-term elections

RE: “Talking heads on CNN have grim faces ... I expected to find them giddy - this isn’t what they were hoping for and leaves them wondering what’s next ...”

Actually, i had to turn it off after 10 minutes that they were so giddy on the fact that DT is not being implicated in official findings.

This will be spun as pleading guilty to collusion when it has no bearing on false fake news conspiracy theory claims of collusion.

Likely, but still unknown. Flynn could have been swept up in incidental collection of the Russians.

A steaming, stinking pile of BS. This was a pretext to monitor the entire Trump campaign and transition teams. It is unprecedented and the most dangerous scandal against the Republic since its inception.

You might be interested to know that LS posted this article on his twitter yesterday, and said quote “it wouldn’t surprise him” if it were true, even though it flies completely in the face of the theory that Trump and Mueller are secretly working together:

Breaking: Trump’s FBI Director & Solicitor General Preparing Indictments Of The ‘Untouchables’…

https://conservativepost.com/breaking-trumps-fbi-director-solicitor-general-preparing-indictments-of-the-untouchables-they-are-panicking/

(Excerpted)

Very soon the names Christopher Wray and Noel Francisco will be the stars of 24/7-cable news programming. Both are Trump appointees who have compiled enough evidence to begin the prosecution of the Clintons and those in the highest offices of the FBI who protected them.

Wray was Trump’s choice to replace Comey to lead the FBI after Trump became aware of how severely Comey, and his predecessor Robert Mueller, had corrupted the agency and its mission when it chose to protect the Clintons. Francisco will be prosecuting the case against those who corrupted the FBI and his reputation says that he will do it thoroughly and professionally to the best of his considerable legal abilities.

Under Mueller, the FBI buried overwhelming evidence of Russian bribery, extortion, kickbacks and money laundering as the nuclear power sought to gain control of the world’s uranium supply.

Mueller also saw no reason to investigate when Hillary, with the approval of then president Obama, helped Russia make a major technological leap after they authorized sharing information technologies to help build the Russian equivalent of Silicon Valley in Skolkovo.

Wray also has enough evidence to convict his predecessor, Jim Comey, on conspiracy charges for his involvement in refusing to prosecute Hillary, Cheryl Mills, Huma Abedin, and a number of her other associates on violations of the Espionage Act. Wray has likely determined that those 33,000 deleted emails weren’t just mishandled accidently – alone that is a violation of the act – but were deliberately exposed to foreign agents and contained at least 2,100 highly secret transmissions.

The depths of their criminality and their treasonous actions apparently left Obama and Clinton with little choice but to try to destroy President Trump. Now, in the interest of defending our American republic Christopher Wray has no choice but to take them all down.

In the next six months expect indictments against former FBI directors Robert Mueller and James Comey along with current Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and former U.S. attorney and current Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein.

Thou shalt not cast aspersions upon the Almighty Hellary. This is what Mueller is holding over Flynn’s head. Throw Trump under the bus or your kid will get the full wrath of the FBI.

Flashback - Trump Fires Adviser’s Son From Transition for Spreading Fake News - https://www.nytimes.com/2016/12/06/us/politics/michael-flynn-son-trump.html

“President-elect Donald J. Trump on Tuesday fired one of his transition team’s staff members, Michael G. Flynn, the son of Mr. Trump’s choice for national security adviser, for using Twitter to spread a fake news story about Hillary Clinton that led to an armed confrontation in a pizza restaurant in Washington.

The uproar over Mr. Flynn’s Twitter post cast a harsh spotlight on the views that he and his father, Lt. Gen. Michael T. Flynn, aired on social media throughout the presidential campaign. Both men have shared fake news stories alleging that Mrs. Clinton committed felonies, and have posted their own Twitter messages that at times have crossed into Islamophobia.”

What Flynn was discussing COULD be a crime of conspiracy, if a quid pro quo was offered and received on the call

What kind of quid pro quo are you talking about? Conspiracy to do what?

I said it was likely, but no one knows for sure yet because your best buddies over at the DoJ flat out refuse to release the information to anyone, including Congress. Don't you remember being on a thread just yesterday, defending Sessions and the DoJ for withholding this very information, even though Congress is threatening to hold them in contempt of Congress now?

That was *YOU*, wasn't it? Or do I need to post the link?

And, you have just learned that an interview “in a matter of course” should never be given.

I already knew it. Now you do too.

I so hope this all came from the illegal FISA warrants from the illegal tapping of Trump’s and Flynn’s phones.

No telling what, we just don’t know. I don’t think it’s likely because he copped to a process crime but we just don’t know for sure, and why you need to be careful stating so much as fact.

Yeah, I read that article and found it interesting.

My take on this whole thing is:

1) That the true agenda in DOJ, congress, intelligence bureaus, Mueller’s team, the deep state, etc., is a crazy mixture of every motivation from CYA, to political witch hunt, to honest law enforcement, to blackmail, to let the chips fall where they may. I don’t know which element will prevail or whether it will be a vague and unresolved mess.

2) That there is far, far more guilt on the Leftist, Democrat side of the political equation. That if any of these investigations lead anywhere they will lead to Democrat wrongdoings, even if they are mostly trying to avoid just that. So, I think either it all fizzles out or some big Democrats take the fall. Probably the fizzle is more likely. In any case, I’m not and have never been real concerned about Mueller bringing Trump down. Even if he hates Trump, I think he’s more likely to find dirt on the Democrat side, or none at all. Why? Because I think Trump is innocent.

3) I have zero interest in discussing whether a certain FReeper was right or wrong in statements made about this months ago. The people now saying “I told you so” tend to mischaracterize, misquote, exaggerate and/or oversimplify past exchanges in order to make it appear as if they were so right and he was so wrong.

I see a lot of straw man arguments and loaded questions and ad hominem attacks. For example, I don’t remember anyone saying there was a love fest between Trump and Mueller, that they were secretly BFFs. - only that his investigation was likely to lead to Democrats being indicted due to the amount of Democrat guilt. Yet, people keep making these straw man arguments and posing loaded questions like “Do you still believe Trump and Mueller are secretly BFFs?” Who ever said they were BFFs in the first place?

I still think the idea that Mueller’s investigation is unlikely to harm Trump and more likely to bring down a bunch of Democrats is sound for the reasons stated above.

I’ll leave it at that.
