Good! Burn them all.
Marsha for the Senate...
Thank goodness someone is trying to look out for the women...
Maybe this will stop the creeps from even running...
When will that happen? Years from now knowing how fast congress works? I will believe it when I see it.
Politicians never act
Politicians react
I’ve always liked Marsha Blackburn.
And I can’t wait to see who votes against this legislation, and how they explain those votes. Who would be against this information being made public but those who have something to hide...?
Throw the bums out and send them an invoice for the amount.
I wonder...if one of my representatives used this fund, could I sue them?
She will make a great Senator
Blackburn: We’re Going to Release Names of Congressmen Who Used ‘TAXPAYER FUNDED Hush Fund’
This will be fun.
“Let’s bring the sunshine in,” Blackburn offered. “Let’s bring some transparency and accountability.”
“These have been personal bailouts,” she added. “Let’s end this.”
It’s a bipartisan effort, with Rep. Tulsi Gubbard (D-HI) one of the Democrats on board.
Enough is enough, Hawaii Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, one of the bills sponsors, said. For far too long sexual predators have roamed freely through the halls of Congress — the peoples house — while survivors of sexual harassment and assault have essentially been isolated, bullied and shamed into silence.
In addition to unmasking the lawmakers who used the hush fund, the bipartisan bill will mandate that taxpayers get their money back - “with interest,” says Blackburn.

How about the halls of the White House! Republicans made similar statements repeatedly in 1995. We were told it was his “private life” and had no relevance to his job performance...and that all the accusers were stalkers and trailer trash. We’ve come a long way, baby.
Arlen Specter should be rolling in his grave about now.
$17 million of our money. Yes, actually, I'd love to see what that money bought and for whom. I'd also love to know if there were any strings attached to the payouts, because this is DC and everything costs something.
I want to know when this fund was started, the names of the pukes who set the slush fund up in the first place, and if it required a vote, I want the names of those who voted for it.
It is all about money, power and intimidation. This is a Biblical truth that is often ignored or disbelieved. All humans possess a sinful nature. Lay the temptation before them (money and power) and most humans will give in to that sinful impulse and use that money and power to indulge their appetites.

Who can’t believe one of these sleazebags like Rangel, McCain, Scarboro etc. didn’t go to their main squeeze and say “ Hey they have a slush fund for us!! You go tell them I squeezed your boobs, ask for 39,000 bucks and I’ll take you to Aruba for a month! No, they ain’t allowed to tell anybody.”
Yeah? When?
Hey, look! Some more of the swamp water just receded! Out these creeps, regardless of party.
Ive been ruminating this entire sordid episode in the history of our country. I wonder if those that benefited from the shush money being paid received 1099s like any regular citizen? Was the amount reported on their individual tax returns? Every single, sniveling pervert that benefited shoul be exposed, and audited by the IRS.
In the words of an old commercial, Im mad too Eddie!
It refers to Eddie Chiles who ended every appearance with the fact he was angry. You need to get mad, too. He would always say. And then this: The government should deliver the mail and stay the hell out of my business. Chiles became a folk hero of sorts. I’m mad, too, Eddie
