Its not only Hollywood, most of southern california is a bubble of insanity. Personal practice of self isolation from current events, facts, the past and the future is the norm. Intellectual blinders are worn and judged by how much reality they filter out. Hollywood is a human meat grinder that takes no prisoners. What kind of disaster will it take to get them to look up from their feet, their cell phones and their navels?

People like Carrey need to experience the reality of totalitarian leftism. All he has should be taken and redistributed to those with less. Some faceless bureaucrat should get to decide what he “needs” and give it to him. He should henceforth be paid for his work at the same rate as a painter, plumber, carpenter or mechanic (whose services are actually of more value).

Ah, Jim Carrey. Always used to get laughs, even if they were occasionally awkward, nervous laughs. Every movie he’s made in the past 20 years has been TERRIBLE, or at least terribly unappealing (I quit watching them).
