Someone posted a fake news article from fake news bloomberg this morning into our breaking news topic claiming (unnamed) fake Republicans were doing this. It wasn't THE Republicans. It's outgoing Trump haters Corker and Flake.

Even better: require every aspect of the tax code to be periodically reauthorized by specific vote or it sunsets and the taxes go away.

Corker, Flake, and McCain have all taken the bullet for the GOPe team and are the designated "vote against it so it won't pass but the rest of us can pretend we were for it" guys. All three of them are dead men walking, politically (and one literally) so they are going scorched earth.
It will be interesting to note who in the GOP comes out to blast Corker and Flake for insisting on a tricky maneuver to raise taxes. My guess is nobody will. And that tells you more than their fake votes will.

These 2 cretins obviously hate their country. They should be booted out. Don’t wait for their retirement.

tax reform bill include a trigger... More like we need a Trigger Lock, to prevent a Corker or Flake from raising taxes.

How about a balanced budget trigger?
Meaning that the government cannot spend more than it takes in, and can’t just jack up the tax rates so they can spend more.
Just like millions of taxpaying Americans have to do to make ends meet.

Bob Corker and Jeff Flake want people to believe they're concerned about the deficit Then DON'T SPEND IT you fruit-loopy bungholes!
To: Jim Robinson
They are spoilers who hate Trump, don’t want him to succeed and will do ANYTHING short of suicide to screw him up.
The Market will respond negatively to a threat of future tax increases, foiling the anticipated result of cuts and these clown know it.

No triggers.
But raise import tariffs and use them to offset tax cuts.

Bad idea, but take it if necessary rather than no deal.
It could b repealed separately in future.

I cant think of anything worse in tax policy than automatic tax increases. At least if the damned crooks want to steal more of our money 💰 they should have to vote on it

If these two Senators were real conseervatives, they would be pushing a trigger to cut spending, not raise taxes.
