I know of nothing that would release her from the provisions of a contract she willingly entered into just because she received a subpoena. Generally the terms of such a non-disclosure agreement provide that she is liable for any compensation she received under the agreement if she breaches the non-disclosure provisions and perhaps other stipulated penalties in the agreement. At a minimum she, or Conyers, could ask for a protective order prohibiting the disclosure of the information sought by the subpoena or placing such information under seal and prohibiting its disclosure to anyone but the court.

I saw her in an interview with Wolf Blitzer yesterday, and she just laid out with real conviction on how her party has got to get serious about this.
Of course she threw President Trump into the mix of those with sexual abuse allegations, but she mainly focused on the Democrat party and the outrage of Al Franken and John Conyers, seeming to get a pass.
You make a good starting point....what the accuser should do is break the confidentially agreement and DARE the house of Pervs to contest the breach.
In the private sector HR usually makes you attend a class on sexual harassment, and you sign a form that you attended. The only useful thing is the signature on the form, because if you do something HR can say "hey, we warned you" as they escort you out.

The “settlement agreements” should be declared unconscionable. They were forced on the weaker party by much, much, much more powerful parties
what I don’t understand is if she is covered by the NDA - isn’t the congressman and his lawyer as well? if not, why not?
She is going for the gold! Rice is going all in and betting that the Democrat structure will collapse and she wants to be there with clean hands waiting to be a leader in the rat party.
