Actually, the war we should have stayed out of was WWI. We had no dog in that fight, and if we had stayed out, there would have been no Hitler, no WWII, probably no Soviet Union. But we got snookered by British propaganda and did enter.

Bingo! Their crushing taxation, liberal feminist ideology, etc. forced two incomes and made it economically unfeasible to have large families. In fact it punished the nuclear family.

I do hope you are correct that the young people of Japan will someday decide to put down their smart phones and VR headsets and start reproducing again. Have you spent much time there? I have, and I don’t agree with your prediction.
This is insanity. If they are facing a population decline (which environmentalists say is a good thing), you could enact policies that encourage having children and or import migrants from India who are highly educated, civilized, orderly and employable.

Importing foreigners is not the answer. Populations go up and they go down. There are more people in Japan now than there has ever been.

And with them Europe will be screwed. There is a good reason why overall Africa has not gotten anywhere and unless they implement drastic changes in their behavior as well as religion they are just going to sputter along like they always have, but certainly not going to set its economy on fire. Anyone who thinks and imagines that they can change the behavior and customs of a people who have been used to live in squalor and poverty for millennia’s in a few short years and convert them in to a productive and suitable workforce, either isn’t playing with a full deck or has some other ulterior motives in mind. I for one lean towards ulterior if not sinister motives as it is hard to fathom that anyone can be this ignorant and stupid by thinking that by facilitating this migration of people, many of them being basically mentally barefoot will be to the benefit of a society which in some ways is literally light years ahead of the African continent. I am all for helping people on the African continent, this is if they want to be helped, by re-education and whatever else it my take, but by moving them to an area where most of them never have or ever will fit in is nothing but folly.
He is probably childless (no consequences to him after he dies anyway); also, government workers/bureaucrats even in the US see immigrants as the means for them to keep their jobs. They need populations to “administer” (teach in public schools, treat as social worker clients, lock up as cops), and rather than scale back as our population dwindles they’ll push to import another one.

The welfare state burden was unheard of in WW1 or 2 or medieval times.
For the welfare state to stay constant it needs an never ending 'next generation' of greater proportion than the last to keep the gravy train rolling.
The combination of a death spiral rates and Countries refusing to curtail spending has left them with no choice but to import baddies.
They are in a no win situation.
And he cares not one bit what the emigration will do to the African continent. Pure evil.
