We had no dog in that fight, and if we had stayed out, there would have been no Hitler, no WWII, probably no Soviet Union. But we got snookered by British propaganda and did enter.

Britain should have stayed out. They would have been much better off. They had their Empire, and it was under no threat from Germany, even if Germany defeated France. Germany would have had a lot of internal strife to deal with if they had won, anyway.
