Matt Lauer allegedly sexually assaulted a female NBC staffer during the Rio Olympics, sources told Page Six.
The staffer, who has not been named and wishes to remain anonymous, complained to NBC bosses yesterday, prompting NBC News bosses to move fast and fire him.
A source told Page Six, “An NBC staffer come forward with a claim that Matt sexually assaulted her at the Olympics.
There have been rumors about Matt having affairs with subordinates at NBC for years, but those were believed to be consensual. This incident in Rio was not.”
Another source tells us that the decision to fire Lauer was made late last night by NBC News chairman Andy Lack.
Lauer’s firing comes amid rumors that numerous news outlets were working on stories about the Today anchor alleged sexual misconduct.

In Matt Lauer’s case, it apparently was not a ‘hair triggering firing.’ NBC has known about him for years, & even sent him to sex rehab in Tucson years ago. Washington Post has been working on the story & it’s going to be published.
At the current rate, by March 15, 2018 there won’t be any heterosexual males left in most of the media or entertainment industries.

Somebody catch me up. Don’t watch Lauer, have only seen him ruining parades on TV. Is he married? Gay? Can ANYONE keep their hands to themselves or resist the urge to be penile-centric?
You are correct. I think we are supposed to assume, therefore, that homosexuals NEVER do such things and are therefore morally better.( Or their victims consider ‘harassment’ normal.)

Ann Curry, Natalie Morales, exec Jamie Horowitz, lot of women, including a college student or two, had Lauer problems. The rumors have had Lauer on thin ice before. And this wasn’t the first Olympics where Lauer felt sexual license.

I too WANT to assume that NBC had incontrovertible proof and damning evidence like stained undies or something but it doesn’t sound like it did. A he said she said and the she wins because she is a she. I don’t know: maybe he admitted it...all sorts of things could have happened...
Just thinking its all a little too pat. Not just Lauer: all of them. Tho NBC saves a huge chunk o’ change not paying his million plus salary nor other bennies.

the accusation was made yesterday. the whole thing is weird. He’s a loser, for sure. But we need to see how this can really backfire on the RIGHT people
The pathology of this deserves some drill down.
First of all, as much as I dislike Matt Lauer, I can confidently predict that he has tons of hot women throwing themselves at him all the time. He can probably get laid at a lesbian convention.
So, I ask, why would he be assaulting a woman for sex other than he is truly a demented pervert. Not a horn dog. Not a bad boy. I mean a seriously psycho perv.
