1) I refuse to use the mainstream media assigned colors.

2) Minnesota is a swing state and Republicans win statewide in Minnesota regularly (It had a GOP governor from 1991-1999, 2003-2011, and GOP senators from 1995-2001 and 2003-2009. Republicans currently control the MN House by a nice 20 seat majority AND won the MN Senate by a slim majority. Franken is only "Senator" at the national level because of massive vote fraud, not because state votes reliably RAT like Hawaii or Massachusetts). I would actually argue Minnesota is more GOP friendly than "swing state" Virginia is. The latter has really gone solid RAT over the past decade.

To the point, MN didn’t elect a Democrat Governor from 1986 until 2010. And Mark Dayton is no Rudy Perpich, who was at least pro-life (and to the right of his RINO successor, Arne Carlson). As you stated, there was enough fraud in the 2008 Senate race that saw Franken steal the seat from Norm Coleman, and then-Gov. Pawlenty refused to sign the election certificate, taking months for the Dem majority to seat Stuart Smalley (and Trump probably won it in 2016).

I’d say it’s better than VA now, yes. MN was the 2nd narrowest Shillery win. Only 1.5 points. It’s trending Republican, we have the legislature. Trump should carry it in 2020. An open seat Senate race or race with an appointed incumbent should be a high priority for the GOP.
