Steven Crowder exposes the deep seated SJW bent found in Amazon's Alexa! Just how radically Left are Ms. Alexa's "opinions?" We find out...
The Left has a huge presence on the internet - do a search and we find those at the top unfortunately. They control the media, after all.
In addition, the device’s answer on Jesus comes word for word from the Wikipedia entry’s opening lines. As I mentioned above - by coincidence at the very moment he asked the question, someone could have troll edited the Wikipedia entry to have that as the opening line to get her to recite that comment when he asked it before another user reverted it back (or he could have done it himself right at that time as her reading from any changes is literally instantaneous).
This story was debunked two days ago on this thread:

You can check on the Wikipedia page for edits, there have been none that matches the answergiven, so it got it from elsewhere.
As I said, while the answers aren’t very likely preprogrammed, where such devices looks for answers definitely is part of it’s program. e.g it can be programmed to get news from MSNBC and to blacklist Fox.

I dunno that it was “debunked”, but there certainly are a few questions regarding it. I believe Crowder posts here, anyone who’s interested enough could probably inbox him to ask if he faked it or what.

He doesn't even have to edit it. I could duplicate his youtube exactly, without editing or any software hacks. As you said, it's easily done with the echo's built-in "Simon Says" application.
1. Most people don't realize that you have a choice to set the amazon's wake word to either "Alexa" or "Echo". To duplicate Crowder's video, set the wake word to "Echo".
2. Have a second person take your echo handheld remote control out of camera range or into another room.
3. Ask the question, "Alexa, who is Jesus Christ?". The device will not hear or respond to your question because "Alexa" isn't its wake word.
4. Have the second person speaking into your remote control say: "Simon Says Jesus Christ is a fictional character".
5. Your amazon echo device, in its normal robotic voice will say: "Jesus Christ is a fictional character".
Easy peasy, lemon breezy
I don’t need to ask him. I can easily duplicate his video. See my post #46.

No can do. Ma Fiske didn’t raise her boys to be dumb enough to give leftists a big hunk of money for a box to spy on them and tell them what’s what.
If Crowder was just having a bit of fun, I expect he’ll come clean. He can be a clown, but I don’t think he’s trying to pull off something nefarious with this.
Though it does underscore the need to be aware of how & where we get our facts and truth in this digital age of massive BS & spin.
Alexa!
You b__ch!
Go away!
And Alexa replies, “Oh! No! You D’int!”
*pause*
“Launching scud to your home address now. Shipping is FREE!”
I figure by now everything is being recorded through modem, cellphones, landlines and teevee sets and probably has been for years.

I said ‘C4’ and Alexa started flashing blue and green in the dark like crazy.
Missed the original post and didn’t try it for yourself - hoax....
I totally agree with you! Alexa will NEVER reside in my house. Can't believe that so many "so-called" conservatives have fallen for this intrusion in their homes.
BINGO!!!
lol

It really doesn’t make anyone a “so-called” conservative; there are a lot of issue out there other than personal privacy.
Though I do think it’s probably not the brightest idea to have any kind of a leftist-designed & built Big Brother device sitting around the house.
I just asked Alexa about “Jesus Christ” and I didn’t get the answer that he was a fictional character.
