Veteran actor Denzel Washington says his latest role as a dogged defense attorney in Roman J. Israel, Esq. reinforced his belief that black men cant blame the system because we make it easy work when it comes to filling Americas prisons.
It starts at the home. It starts at home. It starts with how you raise your children. If a young man doesnt have a father figure, hell go find a father figure, the Academy Award-winner told reporters at the Dan Gilroy-directed films New York premiere, the New York Daily News reports.
So you know I cant blame the system. Its unfortunate that we make such easy work for them, Washington said.

Good bye, Denzel. I really enjoyed your movies.
Get back on the liberal plantation, Denzel, or you’ll never work again.
He likes to have it both ways.
Maybe he “Woke Up” and is starting to see the real world.
Anomalies to that formula are outliers. The whole sad project creates a very labor intensive state bureaucracy which grows the size and scope of government, which is the goal.
Good for Denzel.
I used to have a crush on him years ago. (Strangely lost it while watching Training Day... )
Denzel has earned his Oscars, he has already made his millions. Denzel can pick up the fight for black self empowerment that Bill Cosby had to leave undone, due to certain ‘distractions’. Say it loudly, Denzel, again and again! Before the mass media decides to shut you down or ignore you, there is a chance you will be a positive influence to a few ambitious minority people.
That’s one of the most powerful and well written comments I’ve read on this site.
Now watch one of the professional Big Baby Complainers, such as LeBron James start making fun of Denzel’s conservative views. “Oh, Denzel must wanna be one of Trumps’ “Boys”!”
Well said.
Good to hear from Denzel.
He can say these things because he’s black. If any of us white people say this, we would be condemned as racist.
His best flick, imho.
But yes, he plays a very unlikable character.
I absolutely loved him in “Man on Fire”. Such a brilliant actor.
It is nice to see that he is willing to state that little black boys need a good male role model to grow up with virtue. It is true, but we saw what happened when Bill Cosby stated the same thing and left that welfare, socialist, plantation that blacks are not allowed to leave. Cosby’s only son was viciously killed and the Deep State’s little orgy parties on tapes/photos are locked in their safe to force compliance so they go back onto their plantation or they are made irrelevant and despised by their fan base. The Left controls all perceptions through MSM, Hollywood, textbooks, art, and literature.
The elites allowed slavery to end, but they created a more devastating type of slavery—socialism/welfare— where the soul is destroyed, so virtue can never exist. Without virtue, there is no freedom possible. (Aristotle).
Man on Fire is his best.....IMHO. But he is great in a lot of movies even with inferior scripts.
I love Denzel.
I wish rational high profile voices from the black community would collaborate with a national tour to our most afflicted cities. Unfortunately the really successful black people I know refuse to mentor or develop those who could do so much better. They enjoy the benefit of standing tall on the shoulders of others beneath them.
Its unfortunate that we make such easy work for them”
If that was a white actor’s quote...agh what the hell.
Nothing will ever be black AND white.
