The Archbishop of Canterbury says he doesn't understand why so many Christians in the U.S. support President Donald Trump. Justin Welby told ITV's Preston on Sunday program that he "really genuinely" can't comprehend why fundamentalists have provided such a strong base for Trump.

>>They all want church exemption from taxes but want to be a political arm of their favorite party.
I wish it was something that simple, but it isn’t. They are the subversion of the gospel, as the bible says will happen.
He’s also baffled by Christians always mentioning the birth of Christ during the Christmas season.
When you can’t figure out who the boob is in the room, it is you my good Bishop.
Mowage
The Archbishop of Canterbury is no Christian. If he were, you could expect him to behave like one.
The Bishop!!
It is so rich. Maybe His Hereticalness can explain how they have women bishops, marry sodomites, oh and started from a serial philanderer. We can trade.
“We was too late!”
Would he be on the tv saying the same thing if Hillary were president?
“I cant believe all the Christians who voted for Hillary and support her.”
Would he say that?
Of course not.
Frigging libtard socialist smock wearing hypocrite.
Id be far more impressed or at least attentive if he represented any church having any moral credibility whatsoever. The Anglicans, PCUSA, and reverend Wright dont score even one French fry on my rating scale. Sorry

The first gay Anglican wedding in Britain took place last week, just a day after the archbishop of Canterbury said the continuing row in the Anglican Communion over same-sex relationships was an intractable problem.
The couple, known as Mark and Rick, got married on Tuesday at a Eucharist service where the Rev Markus Dunzkofer, of the Scottish Episcopal church, officiated. Dunzkofer, rector of St Johns, in Princes Street, Edinburgh, said history was made at the wedding, held in the chapel of a Dalhousie hotel.
Is he the same arch bishop who also doubted the existence of God a few years ago?
Hillary wants a totalitarian police state in which babies are killed with tax dollars, people are compelled by government force to violate their religious beliefs, illegal aliens are free to enter but working Americans are compelled to support them, and the people are disarmed to make them controllable. How could any real American support that?
As for President Trump, he was shown on video saying that he “could” grab women, not that he ever actually did. President Trump is also on his third marriage. As far as I can tell, those are his two biggest flaws.
And many are baffled by out-of-touch and clueless the Archbishop of Canterbury is.
I am baffled that the Archbishop of Canterbury considers himself a Christian
Yes thanks. History was indeed made. (Not much of history is especially laudable however)
Christians baffled by Church of England.
I suspect that the good Archbishop has never met a “Christian” within the confines of his church.
Ha ha-—I remember that...I am not sure but I do know that the Anglican Church has been wrong on a lot of major issues since the “divorce” thing (polygamy) with Henry VIII. A major breech was with the Anglican Lambeth Conference in 1930 which allowed artificial contraception in marriage. It was the slippery slope to desacralizing motherhood, total objectification of women, and destroying the entire purpose of marriage and flourishing cultures and making man into gods..
The Catholic Canon up until 1968 was pretty firm on abortion, contraception, divorce and perversions, and was the last man standing on those crucial aspects of NEVER trying to be gods and never defying God’s Design of the human being. But now we have the looniest pope in our history (or maybe the most satanic).
The total removal of dignity from humans is almost completed now—reducing us to animals not made in the image of God with no individual natural rights from God.
