If they are excluded from briefings and press releases, they will either have to give attribution to the source, or continue making up the fake news ("an undisclosed source says...")....and continue getting called on it.
If they cannot maintain composure and professionalism, kick out their entire organization (not just the individual) for ten days. They’ll behave.

This nitwit assumes that because she is incapable of producing anything (Obama said so, after all) that Sarah Sanders is incapable, as well. My brother made and brought a picture-perfect pumpkin pie/cheesecake layered dessert to our Thanksgiving dinner. I didn’t have to see him make it to know that he did; I know him well enough to know that he likes cooking and baking and that he has made LOTS of chef-quality dishes over the years (he has his own little blowtorch for creme brulee, for goodness’ sake). If this idiot-woman knew Sarah Sanders at all, she might know that Sanders has a flair for making desserts (or whatever).

I had a cousin (years ago) who was capable of making a tiered wedding cake that looked like a professional pastry chef produced it. She simply had a talent for it. But, those were the days when you weren't required to have a certificate to tell someone you were qualified to do something.
Sarah Sanders probably has a natural talent for baking. I do okay in cooking food; but, baking is not my strong suit.
