A Washington Post columnist said White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders humiliates the media on a daily basis.
In a column published Tuesday, opinion writer Kathleen Parker referenced Sanders asking reporters earlier this week to say what they were thankful for before asking a question.
"Yet again, she controlled the crowd, though this time by candy-coating her usual condescension with faux fellowship," Parker wrote.
"I'm thankful I wasn't in the room."
She wrote that her first impulse when someone asks her to share is to "not-share."
ADVERTISEMENT "For a press secretary to require professional journalists to essentially beg for their supper, surrendering their adversarial posture like a dog commanded to Drop The Bone, is an infantilizing tactic," she wrote.
"The effect is to neutralize the opposition."

If the falsely named professional journalists would act as if they were they would be treated as such.
Else they can beg for their supper. ;-)
I have to laugh. These reporters have met their match in Sarah Sanders. She does not suffer fools gladly and they can’t stand it!
Lie down with rabid dogs; wake up with rabies and fleas.
Humiliates you? Shape the bleep up. Cut out the snotty accusative questions. Quit asking the same questions repeatedly. Show some respect, and see how THAT works.
She says that like it is a bad thing...
give thanks for Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Those who can do. Those who can’t, teach. Those who can’t teach go to journalism school.
Good one!
Mike, ya did good raising this one.
Another Sarah, Sarah Palin is what happened.
Parker likes "promise the rabble stuff to get elected then cozy up to the cool democrats" politicians. Sarah showed signs of not playing that game and so the whole Beltway "people soothers" went totally nuts.
Now they have the same kind of person in Trump but rather then being a relatively powerless VP, he IS the president.
This produced a melt down they may never recover from.
