John McCain received medical treatment for a minor tear to his right Achilles tendon suffered over the weekend, his office said in a statement Monday.

Is Juan pretending to be injured? One photo may be reversed, I guess...that is the simplest explanation...but is it likely?

Neither are reversed. You wear lapel decorations on the left, as they are in the first photo. A man’s jacket has the buttons on the right, as in the second photo.

I have no idea. Is he faking? Was one of the photos taken long ago with a different injury? I’m just giving reasons to doubt the photos are reversed, not explain what McCain may or may not be up to.

Interesting. If you look closely you’ll see that the image has not been reversed. The buttons on his jacket and on his shirt are on his right in both pictures, as they always are on men’s clothing.
