On CNN's "Twitter & Trump" special Tuesday night, CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta recounted his Wikipedia page being vandalized after being called "fake news" by President Donald Trump.
"The President of the United States called me fake news and on the day he called me fake news, somebody went on my Wikipedia page and changed my Wikipedia page to say that I had died that day, that I had died on January 11, 2017," Acosta said.
"Really," host Bill Weir flatly replied.
"That had to be taken down. I turned off my Twitter notifications because it became sort of this open sewer of hatred and contempt," Acosta said.
"I didn't choose for that to happen," Acosta continued. "But here's the question, Bill. What do we do about this? If the president calls us fake news do we just take it? Do we not say anything?"
RE Fake News:
I posted earlier today that Brooke Baldwin on CNN said We now have a President who supports an accused child molester.
No accountability. Total trash.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Yeah. Accused.
The leftist lying evil people desire that all they need to do is accuse someone.
That occurred in Hitler Germany and communist countries. All that was needed was an accusation of lies.
It’s not whether he’s guilty or not,
but the seriousness of the charge;.
Goebbels would have been proud.
They could always choose to start telling the truth? Maybe thats against CNNs business model.
No, you don't.
You quit your job, run for President, and earn your way to the bully pulpit yourself.
Then you can say whatever YOU want, with the support of YOUR base behind you.

I prefer ropes, three legged stools, and lamp poles.
“I can’t help but think that...” is another fav of npr chatty types. They also start sentences with the long drawn out, pensive “Sooo...” for some nervous-twitch reason. Wholly unoriginal, and apparently as addictive as the prior “you know” habit.
“The MSM is the Country’s greatest threat.”
Relatively few people on our side and no one on the
other side understands the reality of this statement.
The nation suffers when one political side gets
scrutinized and the other side gets a pass. We are
seeing the truth of this play out every day. What
we don’t know is killing us. I would be just as
alarmed if the media was in the tank for conservatives.
It is human nature to push the limits when the
the consequences are slim or none. No, I don’t
advocate media control but at the least the journalism
schools and the profession needs to admit their
problem and begin to deal with it.
Time to rewrite the Lyrics to the Song “American Pie”.
The day Acosta died...
What a friggin Maroon.
(Loud *slap*!) “You cheap tin horn(*slap*) You’ll take it and like it, see’’ I love that 1930’s tough guy lingo.
Maltese Falcon scene... Bogart to Peter Lorre (Trump to Acosta): "when you're slapped, you'll take it and like it"
"That had to be taken down. I turned off my Twitter notifications because it became sort of this open sewer of hatred and contempt," Acosta said.Like your fake news stories are? Want your Twitter to stop being an open sewer? Quit pushing fake news / DNC talking points, you Partisan Media Shill.
> If The President Calls us Fake News, Do We Just Take It?
You should apologize.
