Franken, indeed, has a sordid past in comedy. A glimpse of his true character, imho. But going back to 2006, many voters in MN did not care. The discussion boards were excited about him. figures.

He stole the election in MN. Don’t remember the details, but they kept finding “lost” votes for him. Yeah..right...!

It was disturbing how many liberals here in MN gushed over him back then. Unfortunately the part of the hinky stuff related to that election was that if Senator Norm Coleman had not been the deciding vote to NOT drill for oil in the Anwar area of Alaska, I contend he would have garnered enough additional votes to have pushed back from the election games that were played.
