On the morning of Sept. 9, 2016, the inbox of the superintendent of the Flagstaff Interagency Hotshot Crew pinged with a new email. The subject line read: Your Hotshot Crew Behavior.
The superintendent, the head of an elite corp of firefighters deployed by the Forest Service and National Park Service to battle wild blazes across the country, had been alerted that morning his team was needed to help with the Soberanes Fire, which was eating through more than 130,000 acres in central California near Big Sur. But by the time the crews boss finished the email, according to details laid out in a recently filed criminal affidavit, the Flagstaff crew was grounded.

Should have stayed there.
Can you loan me a dollar so I can continue reading the article?
Another stupid woman, posing as a “professor”. Professor of Stupid.
I has sounded for a long time that you had to have mental health issues to be a university professor these days.
This guy should be getting a raise soon.
GEEZ, what a complete psycho; she lost her job apparently and now deserves some serious time. Unfortunately you have to go the WaPo to read the story.
Try this one:

And another moronic “professor”. Good grief, no wonder they’re graduating students with no real marketable skills. Morons begat morons.
These so-called “professors” are outing themselves almost every single day.
They’re totally leftist and unhinged.....insane.
Thanks for that link - refuse to pay the Post to read their garbage.
Just paste the headline into Google. You can usually come up with the story somewhere else. It isn’t like the WaPo does original work these days.
Yikes!
The day AFTER her arrest?
Tells ya all ya need to know about that University.
After reading this article the only conclusion one can come to is that this poor ignorant soul lost most of her marbles. There must be something in the water as instances like her are becoming more and more frequent. It is almost scary....
"In other messages through another Tinder account, this firefighter confronted her to find out what was going on. She explained it was a Snapchat game where they post conversations of guys they screw over. More points were awarded for hotshots than engine crews. She mentioned a number of hotshot crews, including Flagstaff, Blue Ridge, Mesa, Black Mesa, Prescott, Morman Lake, Carson, Payson, Sawtooth, and Snake River."
What!
Why did so many people spend so much time investigating!
Don’t they know that women *never lie*!!
This cannot be true. The person who made all the accusations is a Woman!
If she had just waited 20 years, the Washington post would have believed her! //SS
This is the Fatal Attraction type who will boil your pet. I read the whole story, really quite disturbing. People like her need to be put on an island somewhere and left for the crabs.
Well, one her victims was female. That may have tipped the balance. Or the investigator may have been ticked off by being sent on a wild goose chase, and decided that he should get to the bottom of it.
It’s common on FR to denigrate federal civilian employees, but some of them really do take their jobs seriously.
Bizarre

Lots of them take their jobs seriously. I was one for 30 years.
It is not the individual employees that are the problem. It is like what Trump said about the Chinese- I cannot blame you for taking advantage. You used your opportunity as best you could for your benefit.
Most all Federal employees play by the rules. But the rules are set up to benefit them handsomely. Federal employees study the rules they play by, just like any professional sports person.
Master the rules, master the game.
And part of the complaint was that she contacted his supervisor and complained his hotshots had impregnated here and wouldn’t return her calls?
Not the _employer’s_ problem that i can see. I would have laughed and told her my employee is an adult, and she should get on the pill next time.
I notice that even though Dinesh D’Souza ‘mastered’ the rules regarding immigration he didn’t use them.
If he had he would have brought dozens of his ‘family’ over here.
