PBS is editing out Senator Al Franken’s appearance from tomorrow’s taped broadcast of the Kennedy Center’s Mark Twain Prize ceremony honoring David Letterman. The decision comes after the former Saturday Night Live writer and performer was accused of sexual harassment.

Re Letterman:
There are a lot of women and children abusers still walking among us, being feted and celebrated for the power they used to abuse others. I noticed Berry Gordy being invited onto the AMA stage last night (I hadn’t known he was still alive) by one of his victims. He was known to be abusive to women under him and he sure didn’t protect one small boy in his care, Michael Jackson.
People, if you don’t talk, these predators will get away with it.
Letterman is no Mark Twain.

I always get a kick out of that old Soviet picture. The person airbrushed out of existence was Nikolai Yezhov, Stalin’s first head of the Soviet secret police and he was a brutal butcher. One of the reasons he rose in Stalin’s ranks was due to his ruthlessness until he fell out of favor with Stalin and met a similar fate.
You know you are in trouble when they edit you out of an already taped show.
