If you're not familiar with the term "Perfumed Prince," take a look at Air Force LTG Jay Silveria, Commander of the Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs.
Silveria achieved the national spotlight by chewing out the entire class over racial slurs posted on five cadets' quarters. Months later, it turned out that one of the targets was actually the perpetrator.

Disrespecting the murdering, women suppressing, child molesting, goat raping enemy? Never.
Those who dream of a military coup should be aware of what they hope for.
Re “Perfumed Princes” re Col David Hacworth USA Ret (deceased)
*********************
Lt. Clint Lorance is serving a twenty-year sentence for opening fire on suspected Taliban scouts when they ran his check point. Lorance is one of the Leavenworth 10, referring to a fluctuating number of U.S. servicemen serving time while known terrorists are released from GITMO.
Bradley Manning gets a pardon. Bowe Bergdahl walks on a dishonorable discharge.
Clint Lorence remains in jail. Got it!
Trump can pardon as well as fire the General(s).
pardon?
never occurred to me!
Thanks! The link below takes us to how/why Hack called the Pentagon’s leaders perfumed princes:
Air Force LTG Jay Silveria should be cleaning toilets with a toothbrush, not training young men to become military officers.
AMEN!!!!!
Time for PRESIDENT D Trump to take care of the warriors and cast the ‘social experiments’ aside and get to a level of Sanity.
From the PrePromo on SECDEF, I figured all the ‘woosses’ (not my choice of words but it is a family show) would have been shown the door by now and REAL LEADERS in their place but it appears to be samo samo with the madness continuing. That judge in Bergdahl(sp) should have recused himself as he had already admitted that PDT had a swaying opinion.
Mathis should have canned him on the spot and called a mistrial but - the Military Court doesn’t work like that so they had better have what they want in place before the proceedings begin..Then again, I guess in a Military Court it is the luck of the draw.
HOWEVER, his GCM should have been at his home base so a jury of his peers could be in place - at least a few that would argue against letting that little SOB go, then compounding it with all his back pay and promotions and he probably is considered USA(ret) rather than having the DD or at least BCD that he really earned.
rather than having the DD or at least BCD that he really earned.

MY mistake...forgot he got the DD but he did get all his back pay didn’t he?
In a ‘true’ sense of justice, that at least should have been his fine....
Actually I really believed he should have been handed a blindfold (NO cigarette, bad for your health) and face his ex ‘teammates’ for the proper punishment.
In WWII Bergdahl would have been executed.
It amazes me the people here who continue to paint Obama as lazy and unproductive. Quite the opposite. In eight years he worked diligently infiltrating his apparatchiks at every level of government, including the military, where many of them remain today.
Would love to hear Silveria’s public apology to all the cadets.
Thanks for the ping.
You think he”ll give one?
Perfumed?!!!! The guy stinks....to high heavens!!!
David Hackworth. Twice in two days! Thanks, Gunny!
Would love to hear Silverias public apology to all the cadets.
He's already doubled down and accepted an award.
President Trump should pardon prisoners like him along with the turkeys...
Get Ready
OK..
I thought at first it was the Trial by Fire but it is a NEW book (6/17) and the author tells of HIS transformation from atheist to believer in a ‘non fiction’ based on fact by a survivor.
Then it struck me that the title “Trial” maybe what I was thinking of and the authors name rang a bell...MAY be but not 100% sure.
The ‘Sailors to the End’ may be of interest to you.
I will try to find the one referencing the Apocolypse (If it really exists..<: <: <:)
The first one is a great FYI title...covers all including the Wisconsin...and other Fires at Sea...
