It’s a FR thing but its still surprising to see how proud people are of being unaware of public figures who have been famous for decades. Heck I remember watching David Attenborough on TV when I was a child. As for Morrissey he is usually offensive on purpose but he’s right. Women slept with Weinstein and gotto be stars.

Morrissey has, once again, gone all no holds barred on everyone. He told it like it was with the Ariana Grande/Manchester bombing (his home town) and took a crapload of flak for it. Personally, I applauded his remarks and showed my appreciation by buying digital music from both his time with The Smiths and from his solo career. I haven’t clicked on the link here yet, but can tell I may be buying more Morrissey music before the day is over.
Hey Morrissey, the more you ignore me the closer I get.

Moz gonna be Moz. Hes right in a way. Those Hollywood sluts at the time were going to do ANYTHING for money - including and especially being on Weinsteins A list. Now they want the attention from the other side of the coin

I’d like to see a list of the women who put out and got the part as a consequence of it.
And, it would be so cool for Weinstein to say, “uh, well so and so (well known actress) called me up and offered a BJ if I put her in my latest film - which I did and she did. So the system works, sometimes.”

O/T, Bryan Ferry (and Roxy Music) was a big part of the music I listened to during my tour in Germany. I lived off post, going without TV for 4 years.

I know who Morrissey and Attenborough are, just like, unfortunately, I know who Kim Kardashian is, but if you asked me who any of the current crop of entertainment idiots are, I probably wouldn't know most of them, and I'd be happy about that because it means I'm successfully avoiding exposure to all of the Hollywood nonsense. I know a couple of guys from Indiana who can name nearly every single player in the NFL. I always thought that was the dumbest waste of brain space imaginable, and that was years ago. Just because people are famous doesn't mean that they deserve to be, or that knowing who they are is a virtue.

This putz is conveniently forgetting the victims who didn’t put out and didn’t get the part, but instead had their career damaged by a vindictive serial rapist and all around asshole.

Morrissey has a long history of making deliberately provocative and controversial statements.
To: Oshkalaboomboom
In England they voted him the second greatest living cultural icon behind Sir David Attenborough.
He's the perfect posterchild for post-Christian British men: effeminate, boring, pretentious, bard haircut, enervated, droopy, effeminate, intellectual poseur, talentless, and effeminate.
Did I mention he is effeminate?
