We know what's going on. And they know we know what's going on.
This is a power struggle. This is the ruling oligarchy against the people.
They cannot abide anybody THEY don't approve of getting into their precious Senate.
For the Senate is their bulwark against conservatism.
But their bulwark is weakening, and their minions' influence is waning.

Moore will be the first Trumpist in the Senate, and it is not sitting well with the GOPe and McTurdle.
To paraphrase the late Huey Long:

The $17 million Congress’s Office of Compliance shelled out is just a fraction of what was paid. Congresswoman Jackie Speier knows of two sitting members who have made payoffs. Ryan and McConnell must know of many others. The people who went through the Office of Compliance have signed nondisclosure agreements. When dealing with Judge Moore it’s “not a court of law, so terms such as ‘proof’ and ‘due process’ are irrelevant.” That sounds like a good enough standard. When is Mitch McConnell going to resign. It’s not the Nature of Evidence but the seriousness of the charge that requires McConnell resign. There are many who are much more discreet than Dodd and Kennedy.

This is going to get ugly eventually. I’m ready to settle it now. Will we be slaves of oppressive elitists running an all-powerful government, or will we be free people controlling a small government that only does its limited job?
