No windmill is safe, so long as the Governor-elect is out there tilting his lance at them.

But the windmills got their revenge, dashing Don Quixote to the ground and leaving him with only a moral “victory”. And some very real hurt.

We need to preach it to these pointy heads on the campuses. Even the trendy set ought to be able to see that inefficient energy programs do not help the environment and damage it in obvious ways...beautiful bays and grasslands have been marred by wind farms...High electrical rates push people toward burning wood...oil replacing coal is still a “fossil fuel” so England’s coal-free brag is hollow.

Did the voters in Virginia know this was his intention?///

If they didn’t they’re imbeciles.

northam made it pretty clear he was anti gun, anti statue, pro abortion, pro illegal alien, etc, the entire pantheon of the leftist platform.

That he’s going to institute his “climate change” agenda is no surprise.

I believe these rules are illegal under state law and the constitution. Expect the courts to strike them down.

“Washington gets 75 percent from hydro.”

Yeah, electrical costs in WA are killing me, up to $150 a month if it’s a cold winter and I use gas for heating, cooking, and hot water. Yet the fools in Olympia decided some years back that hydro power is a non-renewable resource. I guess when water here is used, it’s gone forever!

"The VA GOP has to dump the establishment crap"

A fundamental problem for states like VA and MD is that they are too close to our "Black Hole" federal government.

Two things need to happen for the sake of both states and the country.

On the federal side, the government needs to be focused on its constitionally based functions only. This will necessitate the wholesale firing of large numbers of federal employees, many of which reside in VA and MD.

Secondly, more of the critical federal functions need to be distributed throughout the US so that neither party can gain any meaningful long term federal control through the use of state-based political domination.
