The radio host groped and forcibly kissed by now-Senator Al Franken during a 2006 USO show says the now-infamous photo of the Democrat's hands on her breasts while she slept wasn't meant as a joke: It was an 'in your face' parting shot after nearly two weeks of being 'belittled and humiliated.'
The lawmaker issued a third apology to former Playboy model Leeann Tweeden on Friday afternoon just before she appeared on 'The View,' a sign that he may feel support slipping among advocates who want him to weather the storm and refuse to resign
Tweeden said hours earlier on 'Good Morning America' that she 'had to endure being with him for almost two weeks' after 'he stuck his tongue in my mouth' as Franken mocked her with one passive-aggressive gesture after another.

Worth reading the whole article.
I saw her on TV yesterday, I believe. She seemed matter of fact, but certainly not overly upset about the whole thing. No, I'm not defending in any way, shape or form, Frankin. I'm merely making an observation.
This gal just plain hates Al in a big way.
Fine by me. The smarmy sonofabitch should have stuck to SNL.
If Franken had done this to my wife or daughters he wouldn’t be “Senator”.
Blame the victim.
The “go to” refuge for the bully and unlovable kid that never seems to have learned basic rules of common decency, which turns out, not to be so common after all.
Like so many bullies out there that get found out and are forced to admit to their misdeeds, the claims of apology ring false every time, trying to buy off the target of their tactics with fake promises of “I won’t do that any more”, yet will revert to the same patterns time and again, because the target “deserved” the abuse.
Great article...
Thanks for posting.
Female and in my early fifties, one of the things I am glad about getting older, is the “less” attention from possible harassers.
The stuff Leann describes, occurred in many industries I have been a part of.
Yep--Completely consistent with the entitlement mindset of Franken and most DIMS.
I think she is being too easy on Al The Pervert.
It is too bad she didn't speak out in 2008 when he was stealing the senate election.
She could have saved the nation from Obamacare by sinking Al's senate aspirations before he became the deciding vote..
Pure, unadulterated BS!
NO EXCUSE!!!!
Now, I have never been the victim of any sort of sexual harrassment, bullying, physical assault, etc., so I won't proffer any "observations."
Instead, a speculation (based upon my understanding of human nature):
When repeatedly telling a story like this one (assuming that the lady in question is being 100% truthful) in numerous different venues (on the night of the assault, to a girlfriend; six weeks later, to her mother; two years later, to her fiancé; at a press conference; during a radio interview; on tv; etc.), I should think it quite believable that one could display different "affects" - sometimes relating the events in a very matter-of-fact or even dead-pan manner, sometimes expressing anger, sometimes breaking into tears.
That's human nature.
If every "performance" were identical, however, then I'd be getting suspicious.
Regards,
Some sick guys get off on this stuff. I remember a parting shot from a sick guy I worked for as a young woman. Eventually the guy went to jail for fraud.
I must be getting old.
That issue looks great.
Hunter S. Thompson
Ayn Ryand
AND
Craig Ferguson!!!
Yup. Them as are bad almost always get worse.
To me, Franken has obvious and serious moral (and perhaps mental) problems. Has had since he used to do his unfunny bits on SNL, more than 35 years ago.
Just as disgusting is that the citizens of Minnesota would elected him to represent their state.
MN should investigate how this guy won his last election. IMO
There we go. “I’m the victim here!” And ... scene.
Mods,
could you please remove my above comment?
I misread the title, and did not comprehend that it was her comment. Not his . I would like to apologise to anybody who reads my previous comment.
thank you
You seem to be under the mistaken assumption that the MODS read every word of every thread. This is not the case.
