Two prominent members of Minnesota's DemocraticFarmerLabor Party are calling on Sen. Al Franken to resign his Senate seat following allegations of sexual misconduct.
Although many other Democrats have called the former comedian's actions disturbing, state auditor Rebecca Otto and Megan Thomas, president of the party's official Feminist Caucus, say he should leave office.

You are correct. A showing at the Carver County fairgrounds or in Chaska would’ve put him over the top.
Election day enthusiasm and all...
Stick a fork in him. He’s done.
Please make it so. I want him GONE. Just the fact that dope is a member of the Senate proves what a cesspool it is.
Otto is known, Nobody has heard of Thomas.
Neither are “prominent”.
He's becoming a meme. He's toast.
Where are the voices of all those Republicans who called on Moore to resign. They seem to be absent. I think that is pretty telling.
That was Norm Coleman, or who was it Franken, and the Democrats kept finding votes in bags in trunks of cars, garages, and various other places until they had enough to beat him?
Much of Franken’s gross behavior and general creepiness must have been known during the time he first ran for office. What is wrong with Republicans that they can’t dig up dirt on these sleazebags? The comment he made about homosexuals alone would have been enough to sink him in lib land MN.

Is that white boy Shaun King still going around making pretend he’s a black guy? I’m surprised no blacks have outed him yet, his disguise must be working.

Democrats called Al Frankens behavior unacceptable, returned his campaign donations, and hinted that absent a satisfying explanation in response to a sexual harassment allegation theyd eventually demand he resign.
Anything less would risk catastrophe for a party that stakes its political reputation on fighting for women. Especially one that is just now, 20 years after the fact, grappling with its unyielding support of Bill Clinton.
Sexual harassment is never acceptable and must not be tolerated, said Democratic Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. I hope and expect that the Ethics Committee will fully investigate this troubling incident, as they should with any credible allegation of sexual harassment.
Talk show host Leeann Tweeden on Thursday accused Franken of sexually assaulting her during an overseas USO tour in 2006, three years before he became a Democratic senator from Minnesota. She said Franken forcibly kissed her, and later posed for a photo in which he groped her chest while she slept.

LOL! I knew the memes were going to start coming out with that photo
Valerie “The Iranian” Jarrett speaking out against Franken? Incredible!
Amid reports of rampant sexual harassment on Capitol Hill, a news anchor has accused the Minnesota senator of sexually assaulting her in 2006, during a USO Tour to entertain the U.S. armed forces in the Middle East and Afghanistan. On Thursday, Leeann Tweeden of KABC Radio posted what appears to be irrefutable evidence: a photo of Franken, a former comedian, smiling and looking directly at the camera as he seemingly groped her breasts while she slept.
And it actually gets worse. In Tweedens account, published by the Los Angeles radio station KABC 790, Franken first assaulted her during the tour. Franken had written a comedy skit in which he would have to kiss her, and he insisted on rehearsing the skit backstage, despite her protests. Per Tweedens account:
He repeated that actors really need to rehearse everything and that we must practice the kiss. I said OK so he would stop badgering me. We did the line leading up to the kiss and then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth.
I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldnt be so nice about it the next time.
I walked away. All I could think about was getting to a bathroom as fast as possible to rinse the taste of him out of my mouth.
I felt disgusted and violated.
Tweeden wrote that she chose not to alert her supervisors of the incident, so as not to cause trouble while in the middle of a war zone, and ignored Franken for the remainder of the tour. It wasnt until she returned home to L.A., she wrote, that she saw the photo, taken during the 36-hour flight from Afghanistan to L.A. I felt violated all over again. Embarrassed. Belittled. Humiliated, she wrote.
Every time I hear his voice or see his face, I am angry. I am angry that I did his stupid skit for the rest of that tour. I am angry that I didnt call him out in front of everyone when I had the microphone in my hand every night after that. I wanted to. But I didnt want to rock the boat. I was there to entertain the troops and make sure they forgot about where they were for a few hours. Someday, I thought to myself, I would tell my story.
Franken has already responded. Suffice it to say, this wont cut it.

Keith Ellis.
Yes, such a thing is mostly unheard of in demonRat ranks. However, they realize he's done. And if they stood by him, attempting to defend his actions, it would greatly harm their efforts to block Moore. They'd simply replace Franken with some other dangerous left-wing moron.
Of course Valerie Jarrett wants Franken to resign. Then her Muslim buddy Keith Ellis can be appointed a SENATOR, by the governor. As slimy as he is, better to have a jerk like Franken, than a lying, covert muslim like Ellis. (Watch “The Enemies Within” documentary. It’s a real eye opener about democratic communists and their tie in with muslim radicals. We’ve been set up, big time, folks)
