Sometimes it appears we do run the country on gossip. I don’t know her name, but I think it was reported when she came forward with her story. They are coming out of the woodwork now. It’s bizarre.
I still don’t understand why people wait to tell these things (if they are true). Why didn’t someone rat on that sleaze Franken before he was ever elected to the Senate?

Sexual offenses belong in a court of law, not in the democratic arena of elections and policy. Otherwise the nation would be destroyed by passion.
And lets face it, when faced with a sexual bully, there is simply a need to lay a thumpin’ on them. And if it can’t be done by a victim, then it should be done by a relative or friend. We are far too civilized.
Coming forward 40 years later and saying that one was molested is like going to a bad restaurant that gave one food poisoning 40 years later ,and complaining about the menu while in the interim the restaurant has become 4 star.
It would be actually laughable if the stakes ( steaks?) were not so high.
