Sexual offenses belong in a court of law, not in the democratic arena of elections and policy. Otherwise the nation would be destroyed by passion.
And lets face it, when faced with a sexual bully, there is simply a need to lay a thumpin’ on them. And if it can’t be done by a victim, then it should be done by a relative or friend. We are far too civilized.
Coming forward 40 years later and saying that one was molested is like going to a bad restaurant that gave one food poisoning 40 years later ,and complaining about the menu while in the interim the restaurant has become 4 star.

Feminism has really harmed our culture. In the old days, as you say, the offender would have gotten a thumpin’ from the girl’s father, brother, uncle, etc. Now that leftists have decided that there is no difference between men and women, then why do women have to be protected from men? Can’t they hold their own in a fight if they are supposedly tough enough to do any job a man can do? However, leftists want it both ways - women are strong and tough enough to be in combat, but don’t you dare grab her butt at the office.
